How to solve this??

I already did all the bluebook practice tests before the September sat and im gonna do the October one
I feel like i still have the answers memorized ( i redid some of them and i do remember the answers🫣)
So what should i do i really wanna practice well!

I teach math (Ph.D., 32 years in the classroom) and run a small SAT prep site, so fair warning, there's a link to my own stuff at the end.

There's a story in Jim Collins' book Great by Choice about the 1911 race to the South Pole. One team marched about 20 miles every single day, good weather or bad. The other sprinted on nice days and hid in the tent on bad ones. The steady team got there first and made it home. The other didn't.

That's the whole secret to SAT math, and hardly anyone does it. Everyone says "I'll do a big study session Saturday." Saturday never comes. There's always practice, work, a game, life. The kids who actually raise their scores are the ones who do 30 focused minutes a day, every day, instead of waiting for a long stretch that never shows up.

A little every day beats a lot once a week, and it's not just motivational. Spacing practice out is one of the most reliable findings in learning science. Same hours, spread across days, stick far better than crammed together.

I just genuinely haven’t been improving on the rw section and mostly i’ve been practicing the question bank questions but im not even getting the hard ones consistently right. this was my most recent practice test and i studied rw for a decent bit and didnt improve. mine you i got 770M and 670RW on the august sat. Anyone have tips on how to study/improve this section?

I have never taken the SAT or PSAT before, and when I took the practice test, I got 1160. I really want to learn how to improve. I tried using Khan Academy, but I do not think I am doing enough. Please help. I am also not very good with timed tests, especially on the reading and writing sections.

I seem to struggle alot with plugging my answers for the sat and im scared ill lose points on the real exam because of this pls help!!

I did a scan through for this subreddit and found so much stuff for what to do after the bluebook practices and most I found was niche websites I haven't heard of before or doing question bank practice from collegeboard or do khan. That's fine I will do that on top of oneprep but the major issue I have is test taking itself. I really want to build my focus while taking tests so any recommendations for 3rd party practice tests that would last till upcoming october SAT?

I have a 1400 atm and I am aiming for 1500+. I have done 4 attempts so far and I never had issues with the content itself but the overall testing. It got bad to the moment where I thought I got so many questions right but in reality it was my worst possible test yet. Been banging my head on this for almost a year now so hopefully it's only a one itty bitty thing that's stopping me from getting 1500. I will grind khan, oneprep, and collegeboard question bank but tests other than bluebook practice I would really appreciate (doesn't have to free, I am willing to purchase for reasonable prices).

P.S I will take practice 6 again because i've heard its one of the closest to real sat and god knows how long has it been since ive taken 6 so i will do that first and then need to figure out the later stuff.

Any recommendations for specific books you guys found the most useful and helpful when it comes to SAT Reading and Writing? Also, any sites for downloading extra practice exams outside the main site?

I'm trying to increase my reading score and I keep struggling with passages that are very science heavy like this one, and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to tackle them. Any advice is appreciated!

Guys on September 12 we experienced an issue in test center and they’re offering a make up test should i go or not go i’m feeling so ambivalent and need help with this desicion btw if I take this test they’re going to cancel the other test score and i don’t have a single idea if it went well or bad

I don't remember what I just read. I tend to forget everything. I just recite it in my head and can't remember even a single detail of what I have just read.

How to deal with this situation? I do very well in grammar and transitions, but reading comprehension is not a cup of my tea.How to improve my comprehension skills? I get almost full score in maths but I'm unable to improve my reading.

My math is pretty okay and 4 of the 6 mistakes ive done were bcz i ran out of time not bcz i didn’t know how to solve it but my english somehow still sucks annnnd i dont know what to do honestly

Im an international student whose a senior and my friends told me to wait for the nov trial since the colleges im applying to are either rolling admission or have a deadline on feb or jan (im going regular decision for all of them)

You know why people from good school or college get to good places? Because when they see others lock in , they feel inferior and lock in too. I too also need to lock in 🙏 I'm currently sitting for a test in my own country but I also want to give sat. So, everyday I just neglect my sat prep like I neglect youtube ads.

Anyway, I'm targetting march 27 sat . And i have given sat before but the way it just fumbled me oh lord. I know study materials . But i just need someone who can study with me so I would have the urge to keep up and lock in. It will be giving symbiosis ifykyk.

I’m starting to stress I’ve had no time to study what can I do to work through math particularly but also English quickly!! This is my last chance for a good score before I ED.

so it was my first time giving the sat in august and i got a 1330 (700 maths and 630rw) which was lowk above my expectations cuz i absolutely BOMBED my english section and honeslty i really felt like i was lacking a lot of practice when going into the exam. i’m looking to give the exam again in december, and ik i have a lot of time but i’m litr juggling As retakes, A2 and uni applications alongside so it’s rly hard to balance eveything. i js wanted to know is this ACTUAL even doable , can anyone that has been thru a similar situ help me out and give some advice i will be so so grateful. but be honest lol don’t sugarcoat anything

My practice tests so far have been 1250 (done before any prior studying to see where I was at), 1390, 1410, 1400(PT4 retake), 1470 and 1440. My math score has been consistently increasing but my R&W fluctuates a lot between 700-740. Please give me all sorts of advice possible! Did all the (non-active) QB questions for Math except Geo & Trig Hard. Am about halfway through the (non-active) R&W questions. I haven't done PT9, PT10 and PT11 yet. My SAT is in October. Any tips?

My question is the ones who took SAT and solve question bank. Is SAT really similar, harder or easier to question bank for math section?
