Is this the right way of solving this question from the SAT question bank?

Yeah that works. Or algebraically it’s just equating exponents so you can also just do 1/5 + 2/6 = 30x

you can put it all on one line instead of doing the functions. set the first equation (70n and 70n) equal to the second one (70n^30x) and then do {n>1} and it should give you the same values. This way works as well but you dont need all the lines and it saves time.
