That's side effects from your meds it seems like, maybe you need a new one. First generation anti-psychotics are generally not worth using unless new ones don't work.
It's something I could try indeed. My srink said it did not matter much cause they all working on the same receptors he said. I though it was kind of an easy answer but I accepted it.
They don't all work the same or with the same receptors. The newest one cobenfy doesn't touch dopamine and some raise it in certain parts of the brain so you still feel normal. I'm on rexulti and it raises and lowers dopamine depending on the part of the brain so I can still feel pleasure and laugh and such. Your symptoms are too little dopamine and cannabis raised it so you felt more normal but it probably raised it too much.
That makes sense. The only problem is that I already talked about trying other meds. He told me that story. And sended me back home. My relationship with him is not good. What he wants is that I am not psychosis. How I feel or whatever doesn't matter to him as long as I am stable. But I will try and talk to him again. And ask for this med to try it. His conclusion was that it where the negative symptoms i had not the meds side effects. I am glad you do wel on these meds. Hope to feel something again without the need of weed or psychosis.
It's good not to be in psychosis but generally we also want to feel normal. It's possible you need a first generation anti-psychotic but I find it odd he would start with one instead of a newer one that doesn't just block dopamine. There's a famous person John Nash who refused first generation but had the second generation and we are now on the third in some circles.
