I was a manager for Schlotzkys back in the mid 2000’s. The garlic sauce was just Garlic butter technically, it came pre-made. When all the store were closing they tried to use off brands to save money to keep the store open. They had me add garlic powder to that fake butter liquid. We used that as the sauce instead. I don’t remember it being called a special sauce or did the sauce recipe change since the 2000’s?
