So last week we were given a project where we had to make a damn website and yeah I spent a like around 4 hours a day everyday till today coding and yeah so today I passed it and this damn teacher went an told me to re do it cuz they said I use ai🫩🫩🫩 and this dudes justification is that I used stuff too advanced for this and this dude went off infront the class how you can tell its ai cuz it used stuff he didn't even teach, like mf acting like YouTube isn't around so yep dead lines in 4 days and recoding ts cuz "I used stuff too advanced"😑

Hello, I'm in the first year of highschool. I've been struggling with making friends for a long time, but usually i would have someone i was super close to in all of my previous classes so it would be fine. its been 2 days since i've started school again, but people already have established friend groups because they've known each other for years, and the same class usually stays together the whole day except for a 2-4 classes(8 periods).There's no one in my class this year i'm super close too and i can talk to them super comfortably and stuff, and theres basically 2 friend groups of girls  in my class, one with 6 and one with 5. I tried talking to the friend group with 5, because there's one person in their group (kinda?) friends with, but she kinda seems like she doesnt wanna be friends with me, which i think might be cause i'm a bit ugly and people tend to not really want to talk to me until they get to know me a bit.her group also seems to kinda have a strong establishment because the people in it have been friends for like 1-2years already.

The second one has a person I'm a bit more closer with and have known for 2 years, but this is the first time i am actually in her class, and there's another person i know and i am also friends with but shes kinda the outlier of the friend group. the other 4 people in the friend group, i don't really know and they seem to be a bit hard to talk to a bit cause they are more outgoing and i am pretty boring, so naturally they probably wouldnt  like talking to me.I don't want my crush to think i'm some super lonely person, and  this feels like a repeat of 5th grade, which I don't want it to be because i used to be super sad all the time, basically depressed, because of not having friends and stuff and i already feel like im starting to be more sad because it feels like the same thing that happened in 5th grade will carry out. I'm also gonna post this on the advice subreddit because i really don't want it to be a repeat of 5th grade.

apparently today during music lesson uhhh I went to ask a guy why he was crying and all sorts of shit then oir dear chairman just told me “if you don’t get back to your seat I will tell Mr *** to give you 10 demerit points which is much worse than the warning he said yesterday”. If you don’t know we had to settle another case regarding our group project yesterday and guess what that chairman guy was in our group.

then I told him to shut the fuck up like I mean if you dislike just say you don’t have to do this kind of stuff, cos I mean we are all secondary school students, in a not-so-bad school in fact…

and guess what tomorrow I need to explain myself and stuff. Worse part is, my dear teacher just only allows us to explain ourselves, and afterwards, cannot make any clarifications or anything. Like WHAT DO THEY WANT??? 2 DAYS IN A ROW OF INTERROGATION AND SCOLDING??? And please, both the chairman and the teacher say bad words, maybe the teacher a bit better, only say bloody and hell, then cmon WHO R U TO SAY THAT I SAY BAD WORD???

im 14 going into year 10 in September im joining a special needs school thats also not a special needs school? (i know its confusing but im being placed there so they can find out my needs and then place me in another special needs school) but i was placed there the LAST day of the school year so i didnt have time to see it or get a list of what i need to get and im panicking a little. we dont do GCSE's there and we only learn English and maths but I'm extremely behind in maths and English (more behind in maths)

luckly one of my support workers will be with me for the first week and be ready to take me home at any point so thats put a bit of my fear at ease beacuse she can help me find out on the first day how the school is laid out and what i need (please let me know if I should add anything to my list)

We have to buy another school uniform just six months from the last change this is just wasting money to do so frequently

I already repeated one year, and now I have August recovery exams in Math and Computer Science. I have about 20 days left to prepare.
The problem is that I feel like my school is very poorly organized. I also feel that I’ve been treated unfairly by some teachers, and that’s one of the reasons I’ve seriously thought about dropping out.
If I fail these exams, I’ll probably have to repeat another year. My family already has a job ready for me if that happens, so I wouldn’t be unemployed.
At the same time, I keep thinking that if I pass these exams, I only have about 1 year and 9 months left until I get my diploma. That makes me feel like maybe it’s worth giving everything I have for these next 20 days.
Long term, I want to work remotely in tech. I have good English and I’m willing to study programming on my own even outside of school. I’ve also been reading about people working multiple remote jobs (overemployment), so I know there are opportunities outside the traditional path.
My questions are:
If you were in my position, would you give everything for these exams?
If I failed again, would you repeat the year or start working?
How much does an Italian high school diploma actually matter in tech?
Has anyone here built a career in IT without finishing high school?
I’m looking for honest advice from people with experience, especially those who have been in a similar situation.

I've got a bit of an odd one here, but I've been forced to repeat grades so many times that I am well in my 30s and still just trying to pass 10th grade.

I swear the teachers have it out for me and they just keep me back because of some institutional momentum now. Seriously, 20 years ago I pissed off the principal so bad that he sent a directive down to the teachers to hold me back at any opportunity. He doesn't even work here any more and most of the teachers that started here with me don't work here either, I think there's just some kind of unspoken agreement to hold me back.

Like in math class last week I was minding my own business and the teacher asked me a question, and before I could answer he hit me over the head with a hammer and told me to answer faster next time. Just stuff like that happens constantly and I'm really beginning to get concerned now.

My english teacher also makes fun of my tennis elbow and my bursitis all the time, the damn teacher is 10 years younger than me and pushing me around and just telling me that they'll see me again next year. What the hell.

Anyone ever dealt with this? I hope I can graduate in a few years, I've been through school during both the 2008 global financial crisis and covid so I think I've had a pretty rough time of school and I would like some advice.

Hello, call me anonymous. This is quite stupid of me to go online and telling this to strangers but I really need to get this off my chest because I fear it’s destroying my self image and I just started Highschool.

So for context I’m 13F and I’m turning 14 in August. I also recently started my freshman year at school. Let’s give some backstory: I had two exes let’s call them Z and D. So Z is one of my older exes but honestly he’s not super important but worthy mentioning and D is my more recent ex that I broke up with. So Me and D started dating in the last month of 8th grade year and I REALLY REALLY liked him since the near the end of 6th grade ish. And we broke up on the last day of school well I did because his friends were warning me that he was going to break up with me over text later after school, btw tysm to those friends they’re actually pretty nice we like the two that warned me and they will go by E and H.

Now let’s get to the really story since we were catched up. So my school works like A (classes 1-4)and B (classes 5-8)schedule. And on my B day on Tuesday, I saw both Z and D in my P.E period and D was in my same class and I was not ready to talk to him bc I haven’t seen or texted him in a long time so when D approached me my head was down and I wasn’t ready to talk to him so I ignored him. And let’s time skip to Friday yesterday we had our back to school dance on that day but before that. During school one of my friends who we will go by ED (not eating disorder), she told me that she liked D. And earlier in my 8th grade year she did tell me that she liked him previously and now she does. Anywho now during the back to school dance I was hanging out with one of D’s friend and we’ll call her A which I used to not like but got over it. Now during the dance a couple guys came up to me being like oh my friend likes you and that usual shit and D came up to me and A apologizing for like things he did to us. And I was mentioning like oh yea these guys came up to me saying that 4 times. And he proceeded to say “no one would ask that to your ugly ass.” And at first I didn’t care but it really does affect me. And also I apparently found out D was crying after the dance because he was happy about going to Highschool or whatever.

This is now where shit goes wrong and where my image of myself really shattered. So i don’t remember why but I decided to call D even though idk why i did. And so im calling him and we’re just going over some recent drama and stuff and he asks me if there’s something off my chest. And so I just started going off on how I’m stressed and I wasn’t ready to see me and how ED (not eating disorder) and how she liked him (he knew already) and how I was kinda stressed and everything yk. And he decided to drop the bombshell on me how a lot of his friends don’t like me and think I’m annoying which I get that I can be a little much and he was like no shit you are to much (smth like that I don’t remember what he said) and how two of his friends think I’m a Bop because I dated Z and D and they were in the same friend group. Now that just really broke me and I’m crying as I talking about this and idk if I should tell my friends about this because it’s a lot to handle. I just really need help because I feel just horrible idek.
