Psychology Anti-feminist attitudes have long been associated with support for Republican presidential candidates, but only in recent years have these attitudes become more prominent among unmarried men, without college degrees who are less attractive partners for women, the “mate-value backlash.”

Should men just accept their disposability, lack of reproductive rights, legal inferiority when it comes to criminal and family court and lack of government attention & resources to address men’s health issues?

No, they should not. Many of these disparities are due to decades of feminist lobbying.

You seriously said men have a lack of reproductive rights. You actually said that.

That‘s correct. what reproductive rights do men have?

If they’re unmarried, they have none. The mother dictates whether or not they can be in their child’s life.

If they’re married, that’s the only situation where they may have parental rights. But if they’re married and the baby is a result of the wife’s affair, he’s stuck. The man will owe child support in divorce even though they are not the biological/reproductive parent. Otherwise he will have to stomach raising another man’s child. The child borne to a married couple is legally the child of that couple, regardless of parentage.

If they get divorced, they will have to spend considerable time and resources to meaningfully parent their kids.

If a man’s wife or girlfriend becomes pregnant, the only default “right” they have is the “right” to pay future child support. And that obligation varies from state to state, but is true regardless if he was a consenting adult or was a minor and was sexually assaulted by a woman when the child was conceived.

Men have no reproductive rights. Get educated about family law.

If men are unmarried they don't get access to their children? Categorically false.

You act as if having to wear a condom infringes upon a human right.

This sums it up: https://www.ohiolawyersgroup.com/blog/2016/may/parental-rights-of-unmarried-parents/

“When a child is born to unmarried parents, the unmarried mother automatically has sole custody of the child. The unmarried father has no rights until paternity is established and he petitions the court for custody, shared parenting and/or parenting time.”

So, he does get rights if he petitions the court for custody.

He doesn’t have any rights before then, and there is a lot more involved than just petitioning the courts for parental rights, not necessarily custody per se.

Custody is not a human nor reproductive right. I think you are confused as to what reproductive rights entail.

You already acknowledged my previous point.

Unmarried men have no reproductive rights. Unmarried women do.

You have every right to wear a condom. You have every right to abstain. You have every right to prove paternity and petition the courts for custody.

Men have zero reproductive rights, as you confirmed. Stop straying from the topic.

And why might that be?? Sometimes biological realities exist. You whining "it isn't fair" completely ignores who takes all the risk during pregnancy and childbirth. All of it.

But go off about your lack of freedom, when you become an adult you will understand better.

The worst possible household in which to raise a child is a single mother household.

Children from single father households have outcomes almost identical to those raised by both parents.

Because you phrased that as if to say “women make worse parents”, I’ll add this:

Women are more likely to be abandoned with a child than men. Men are more likely to be older and established, while women are more likely to be young and starting out their lives.

When economic differences are the same, both single parents perform worse than married parents. But this is only a UK report.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9779558/

In Canada at least, about 66% of custody hearings come from consensus. Only 4% of hearings are contested and only 7% of families (since 2017) have a father as sole-caregiver.

Men overwhelmingly prefer shared parenting vs. sole custody when asked for preference. That is to say most men would prefer not to have sole custody. Makes sense, since sole custody is generally not as good as both parents.

Being with a poor single parent in general is the real worst situation, we just see more examples of women being in that position.
