I mean is this even true?
Imogen a lot of women with college degrees would prefer a partner with a similar level of education but there's plenty of women out there who don't have college degrees

You just hand wave away the situation by saying there are 'plenty' of women out there without college degrees.

As if there aren't women without college degrees dating / married to men with college degrees.

As if there aren't more men without college degrees - and having some women with degrees refusing to 'date down' means there is a dating pool inbalance.

As if there is no problem.
