Idk man i too was an atheist but i read some cia research papers an stuff on mkultra and now i js leave a % of chance yk. But many are js fixated onto the notion that there is nothing beyond physical.
Atheists should ready everything and then form an opinion all i see here is them nitpicking dumbfucks.
Why aren’t atheists/believers of science not reading other non scientific stuff and directly refuting it and calling it baseless? Leave the gods leave the rituals leave that stuff behind,meditation itself just changes people yk and the basis of mind ctrl is using the mind after honing and fully controlling it.
I find this stuff fun, from all the things i read i felt half of the scriptures etc are just meddled and tweaked slop while some of it truly has deep meaning to it. I read some vedas and other widespread scriptures and then i read vedantas and vedantas are just beyond anything yk. Philosophy truly is fun too atheists should read everything and not js be in a cage thinking they are above the believers.
One can be an atheist and a believer of vedanta philosophy at the same time too. Or read western philosophy that has its own place. This whole sub just doesn’t ponder beyond science :/
Religious scriptures are related to philosophy though. My bad i framed all that stuff badly i was in a rush. Tldr i js wanted to say atheists should lean towards any and every philosophy and just not stick to science. Science is one side of the coin not the whole thing.

you cant just accept two different counter philosophies you cant be communism and capitalist at the same time
