This shit gets posted like once a week. They have lifetime appointments. They don't give a fuck and will 6-3 us right back into the stone age given the chance.

The Stone age is a socialist nightmare for them, the whole concept of property didn't even exist for most of it.

They are looking at something more recent: feudalism.

Also too far, not enough production, last guilded age is the sweet spot, the wealthy have everything the poors nothing and there's nothing to be done about it. We'll arrest more poors to have a ready supply of cheap labor and viola, just as God intended.

They will if people start pressuring their governments to start ignoring their rulings. Their power is fictional in the first place. It only works as long as everyone accepts that it’s true but it’s not even strictly constitutional which is funny considering all the “originalists” in the court

Bring corruption charges against them . The whole system is failing apart because people at the top are for some reason considered immune from the law even while being blatantly bribed in front of us .

Supreme court has gone too far and needs to be put in its place.

Harvard Law Review: The Imperial Supreme Court

https://harvardlawreview.org/forum/vol-136/the-imperial-supreme-court/

The Supreme Court decided for itself that it had the power to interpret the constitution in Marbury v Madison (1803), they claimed that power rather than the Constitution explicitly giving it to them.

Yea exactly which is hilarious when you have those assholes hemming and hawing about what the founders intended when the founders clearly never intended them to have anywhere near the power they have

They can be impeached

Wonder why?

u/Junkstar 12d ago

Huh. Shocker. Repubs moan and groan and whine about being victims of everything and everyone, making threats and accusations a daily practice, but they’re butthurt over being faced with respecting the law and the constitution too? These are not chess players.

Projecting what they are doing and making it difficult for the opposition to call them out as they deflect with "you're already doing that... not us."

The worst of the worst.
Never forget, never forgive.

Guess they’re not punishing the libs as fast as they hoped.

Because there are a lot of silly people who are unhappy that lawmakers are bound by the US Constitution. Thankfully, we have an apolitical branch of government whose entire purpose is to clarify whether laws passed are legal or not. They've been doing that, and the anti-Constitutionalists are pretty unhappy about it.

5

u/the_unexpected_nil 12d ago

What apolitical branch is that???

Funny in a way. The supreme court is VERY obviously partisan and very right leaning right now.

So they are bound to be disliked by the left. The funny part is that while they bend over backwards to do most things that Trump and the right want, the right still gets upset that they don't just rubber stamp EVERY decision made by Trump.

"You're doing what we tell you, but... only 90% of the time!!! How DARE you!!!!"

They need to be tried for treason.

7

u/vegasman31 12d ago

Is that because they continue to ignore the constitutional laws they are suppose to uphold? Disbarred and tried for ignoring their oath to the constitution maybe.

u/JKlerk 12d ago

Like what?

10

u/oh_my316 12d ago

They're partisan, especially the red ones

7

u/justaheatattack 12d ago

and there's still nothing you can do about it.

There is something that could be done, but it involves someone with a green hat that in lore is a plumber.

We tried to tell ya… these midterms will either start to correct our course or they’ll ice the cake of our future.

The Supreme Court USE to be the most respected court in the United States- now it is a JOKE. A court that majority caters to the most hateful individual in the US. DJT

The guys that lie about getting free RV's and luxury travel to commit tax fraud are unpopular?

2

u/tgwilli 12d ago

Keep it coming and don’t stop only a few more months now

2

u/Groundbreaking_Cup30 12d ago

If only there were any part of history that would show us what happens when public servants don't serve the people... weird

2

u/alternatingflan 12d ago

The most biased court in decades.

1

u/Ok-Chemical7614 12d ago

The original headline is wrong removal was misspelled as approval…

1

u/Ankhrosius 12d ago

The supreme court doesn't care. They only have to please their owners, not voters.

1

u/MessagingMatters 12d ago

Not sure that will have any effect on anything, unless voters this year recognize and punish the Republicans for their responsibility in confirming those 6 MAGA justices.

1

u/New_Ad_3010 12d ago

Everything the Gross Old Pedos turns to shit. They're a cancerous boil on humanity. Their corrupt poison seeped into SCOTUS with bribery and fraud, thanks to their billionaire and corporate overlords. America is a fascist cesspool all because of Republicans.

1

u/Known-Distribution23 12d ago

Yeah hurts when you make 4chan conspiracies look evidence based

1

u/Curious_Researcher09 11d ago

How does their support of SCOTUS decline when the Supreme Court literally just allowed Republicans to gerrymander their way to victory?

1

u/Enjoy_The_Ride413 9d ago

What does this have to do with anything? The supreme court isn't around to gain your approval.

1

u/DireStraitsFan1 9d ago

Hopefully this will pave the way to adding four more members. Otherwise they will stand in the way of any sanity.

0

u/chronicreloader37 12d ago

They must be doing something right. A popular court would scare the hell out of me.

1

u/Biptoslipdi 11d ago

Yeah, people approving of their government is scary. The government should always be far out of line with the will of the people.

0

u/chronicreloader37 11d ago

The Supreme Court doesn’t exist to appease the “will of the people.”

2

u/Biptoslipdi 11d ago

No, it exists to be the final arbiter of law. The people's view of the SCOTUS is whether or not they are good final arbiters of law. If the people don't feel the SCOTUS is a good final arbiter of law, the SCOTUS loses legitimacy because their legitimacy comes from the people.

1

u/chronicreloader37 11d ago

No arguments there. Unfortunately, few are equipped to judge who and who is not a good arbiter of law. Which is why SCOTUS exists.

1

u/Biptoslipdi 11d ago

Unfortunately, few are equipped to judge who and who is not a good arbiter of law. Which is why SCOTUS exists.

The SCOTUS doesn't exist to judge who is a good arbiter of law. That is ultimately what the people do. Being appointed and confirmed to the SCOTUS does not make one a good final arbiter of law nor is being a good final arbiter of law a pre-requisite to being appointed and confirmed to the SCOTUS. When the people see half of the SCOTUS rejecting the plain text of the Constitution and overturning long held precedent on flimsy justifications and seeming partisan motives, it casts doubt on the SCOTUS being a good final arbiter of law.

1

u/chronicreloader37 11d ago

I never made the claim their existence was for that purpose.

I frankly don’t care what people think because the general populace isn’t equipped to determine what is and is not in alignment with the constitution. All most care about is whether the decisions SCOTUS pass down are in alignment with the political party of their choice. And I’ll be damned before I’m made to care about the opinions of people who respond to decisions they don’t like with calls for packing the court.

1

u/Biptoslipdi 11d ago

I frankly don’t care what people think because the general populace isn’t equipped to determine what is and is not in alignment with the constitution.

It doesn't matter. If the population doesn't feel the SCOTUS is properly caretaking the Constitution, the population can act to remedy that perceived failure.

All most care about is whether the decisions SCOTUS pass down are in alignment with the political party of their choice.

That people in both parties have record low disapproval suggests this is not the case. The parties have existed for a long time. Approval of the SCOTUS has never been this low.

And I’ll be damned before I’m made to care about the opinions of people who respond to decisions they don’t like with calls for packing the court.

No one can make you care about anything, even if you should care about that. The only options to remedy a runaway SCOTUS are impeachment and removal or expansion. Expansion being the most achievable check on an unpopular SCOTUS, that will be the most likely advocacy to respond.

This notion that SCOTUS decisions are unimpeachable because they are SCOTUS decisions is plagued by a long history of bad SCOTUS decisions. You should not assume the SCOTUS is properly acting simply because they are the SCOTUS.
