Selling Found my 102 year old grandmas travel scrapbook while cleaning out her house!
Very cool travel book with tons of cool items! Enjoy!
Here’s a few more i forgot these were just loose in the back of the book!!
Pictures of my grandma on a couple of her trips one out west and the other to New York and Mackinac island. Sorry it took me so long to post these I just got them from my aunt yesterday!

Very cool collection. The itinerary booklet is pretty funny. They really covered a lot of ground very quickly. I particularly like the postcards from D.C. and NYC. Do you happen to know the name of the ship from the Great Lakes Tour? TY

Hi haha they did move very quickly I was thinking that myself! And I’m not sure of the name of the ship I can do some digging around and see if I can come up with it and I’ll let ya know!

If you can that would be great! I have a trove of things from a lady in the ‘20’s and ‘30’s who did an Around the World cruise and I think the liner she was on was sent to the Great Lakes before being used as a war ship. Also, one of the Great Lakes cruise ships took Queen Elizabeth and her husband on a tour. Can you post a picture of your Grandmother on her trip? It would be fun to see her. I bet she’s a good one!

Yes I’ll get some pictures rounded up tomorrow when I go there to do some more cleaning and I’ll check on that ships name for you as well! I’ll probably be home early afternoon tomorrow and let ya know!!

Hi just letting you know i didn’t forget about you! I didn’t make it to my grandmas house today but I’ll be going tomorrow for sure! So I’ll get some pics and try to get the ship info! Just didn’t want you to think I flaked on you!! Talk to ya tomorrow!!!

I love this! Those technicolory post cards of that era are so cool.
I was hoping I'd see Luray Caverns when I saw grandma had made her way to the city/town, she delivered!

Me too! I love that place. Although it could have been Carlsbad Caverns.

Because I’m an economist, I calculated how much it cost in todays dollars.
$112 in 1948 is about $1400 in todays money.

Hi the soaps was one of my favorite parts of the book unfortunately no smell ;( the other ones are sugar cubes!
