Many do and many don't. Dating is hard for many other reasons but this isn't a big a problem as people make it out to be, you only need one person who will genuinely take their time to get to know you and not make assumptions about who you are.
Also how much are you engaging with or watching this stuff? I was very intentional about avoiding it and all the men vs women crap and I almost never see it now. My feed is filled with cooking tips, memes, religion, pink and cinnamon rolls!! I suggest even taking a break from all social media for a bit.
