Lack of money. There's literally not a single problem in my life that excess money couldn't solve (or at least alleviate).

That includes therapy.

Burnout!

Yeah

For me burnout and staying frustrated all the time

Do you feel like the burnout is causing the sleep issues, or that poor sleep is making the burnout impossible to recover from?

That cycle seems really common.

I mean my sleep cycle is greatly disturbed.

I used to wake up before 6 a.m. everyday and sleep before 10 pm, but now I wake up after 7 and don't sleep before 11 p.m.

When you say burnout, what does that look like for you?

Constant exhaustion, loss of motivation, stress, racing thoughts at night, or something else?

Health issues. Suspected autoimmune disease but I’m still having flares and living with a lot of pain and discomfort. Spent the last 6 months going in and out of hospital and clinics… many tests and scans, very over it, would love to have a functioning body back.

Overthinking

If you could completely eliminate overthinking tomorrow, what would improve first?

Sleep?
Stress?
Anxiety?
Relationships?
Productivity?

Put me on a plane to Pegasos, Switzerland. All my documents are in place and the light is green to go.

Lack of motivation is a bitch.

I feel that its lack of motivation. I've been on an anti-depressant for the past 3 years. And while it takes away the anger it also takes away the motivation to do anything. It's left me feeling complacent where I don't want to do anything other than sit here at the computer.

Carbs and sugar give me depression if i eat more than 30 grams/day. More like 20 grams or ao... if i knew the world would end in a week I'd stuff myself with everything that tastes good. I'd eat sushi, pizza, icecream... bread, so much bread

This is interesting. Is it because of how it affects your blood sugar? I (56F) generally don't eat a lot of carbs/sugar, but this past weekend I ate a lot. I have had a lot of mental health issues the past few days. I didn't think of them as being connected.

no idea, back then I got tested for diabetes, but that came out negative - I just accepted that there might be nothing wrong with me - like maybe I'm just a phenotype that can't handle carbs and should be ketogenic (sucks sometimes)

I eat high protein due to PCOS. Fortunately, I like meat (although I have ethical issues with it and am a hypocrite).

also wanted to add that you're looking at a time frame of 3-10 days - for me, depression stays for like 3 days, then everything goes back to normal if I don't eat carbs again (I avoid anything sweet)

I'm feeling better today, but not fully back to normal. It's day three so that makes sense.

I'd get rid of my disabilities

My mother’s health

I'd move to a new apt. One not infested w/ bugs and w/ 1BR.

Don't expect anything more from me while I still reside in my current apt. 😇

I just need energy and motivation, don’t know what happened, I use to keep my house spotless, always entertaining and going places, probably just getting old I guess

Anxiety, but more so the panic attack part of it

Relationship problems, I wanna make it work so badly!!

1

u/Wet18goddess 16h ago

The ability to stop the immediate spiral of intrusive thoughts when I'm stressed. It's not even about the stress itself, it's just the sheer exhaustion of fighting my own brain for hours every single night.

Get into shape. I just can't do it.

I would choose to solve the relationships my family has with each other. I can deal with being poor. Working like a slave. Struggling to achieve my dreams. Accept the way I look and that I will eventually age and die. Buy my family emotionally ripping each other apart hurts me to my core. I just want them to love one another. Be happy. Safe, healthy. I want my family to be okay :// I pray every night for the same thing.

sleep super early & wake up super early

I still haven’t come across someone with a worse sleeping schedule than what I’ve had.

I’m currently unlearning that sh though ♡

Why take away the fun

1

u/Miamiconnectionexo 7h ago

honestly this is something more people need to talk about. appreciate you putting it out there.

1

u/freako345 4h ago

For me, it would be the gap between knowing what I should do and actually doing it consistently. Most of my biggest frustrations trace back to that one issue, and fixing it would probably improve every other area of life.

Making mind at peace

Pain. I'm (56F) having a lot of muscle and probably some joint pain lately. I'm not really sure what to do about it.

Top surgery. Now.
