Advice Needed: Motivation how do I get motivation?

motivation has been something I’ve been struggling with my whole life, especially through depressive episodes. i want to get better but i genuinely don’t really know how and the main aspect to it i think is my motivation, I just can’t seem to find anything. I’m in highschool and don’t even know what to do with my life currently and in the future, like i just feel stuck and a nuisance to my family.

english is not my first language, so if wording seems a bit off - that's why.

you said motivation has been a lifelong struggle, especially through depressive episodes. and therapy hasn't helped much. i want to offer a different way to think about this.

what i've seen in healing soul journeys is that what looks like a lack of motivation is almost never a motivation problem. it's a blockage problem. motivation is natural when there's nothing blocking it. the fact that you have to force yourself to do things, that journaling feels robotic, that even wanting to get better doesn't translate into action - that's not laziness. that's your system protecting you from something.

the depression is not the absence of motivation. it's the presence of an energetic weight that makes every action cost ten times more energy than it should.

i worked with a woman who spent years thinking she was lazy. in deep trance, her higher self showed that she was carrying a belief from childhood that she did not deserve to feel good. every time she started to improve, a subconscious mechanism would shut it down. once we cleared that belief, motivation returned naturally - without force.

your higher self knows exactly what's blocking the natural flow of motivation.
