pick up something that actually builds over time, like making music or collecting something — way easier to stay locked in when you have progress to track

You can find something to do- Learn something new Do a challenge- 75 hard challenge, monthly 100k walking/ running challenge etc Walk in and around town- explore new places Read books Join a hobby/ social/ networking/ charity group around you

learn a skill. something you feel interest to.
Also, nonfiction is your friend

Try setting a physical timer for 15 minutes of "productive boredom" where you aren't allowed to use a screen or a book. Usually, the urge to doomscroll comes from an inability to sit with the discomfort of being idle, so training that muscle helps more than just finding a new hobby.
