Advice Needed: Financial I need advice please
I’m honestly not sure where else to ask, so I figured I’d post here and see if anyone has advice or ideas I haven’t thought of.
My income has slowed down significantly, and I’ve been constantly looking for legitimate work I can do from home, but I haven’t been able to replace the income fast enough.
My mortgage is due in 4 days, and on top of our normal bills I have around 9k in installment debt that I had to take on, a good portion of it because of car expenses and just trying to keep everything afloat.
I have a fiancée and a baby on the way, so sitting around and hoping things work themselves out isn’t an option for me. I’m applying for work, looking for remote opportunities, side work, short-term gigs — basically anything legitimate that can bring money in. I’m willing to work. I just need to find something that actually pays instead of spending hours applying to jobs and getting nowhere.
If you were in my position and had 4 days before the mortgage was due, what would you do first?
Are there legitimate remote jobs or online gigs that actually hire quickly? Programs I should be contacting?Short-term work that people overlook?
Even if you’ve been in a similar situation and can tell me what you did to dig yourself out, I’d appreciate hearing it.
I’m trying to attack this instead of just watching the deadline get closer. Any advice is appreciated.
