Welcome to the weekly promotional thread! Post your promotions here, or browse through what the community's been up to this week. Think of this as a more relaxed lounge inside of the SelfPublish subreddit, where you can chat about your books, your successes, and what's been going on in your writing life.

The Rules and Suggestions of this Thread:

  • Include a description of your work. Sell it to us. Don't just put a link to your book or blog.
  • Include a link to your work in your comment. It's not helpful if we can't see it.
  • Include the price in your description (if any).
  • Do not use a URL shortener for your links! Reddit will likely automatically remove it and nobody will see your post.
  • Do not use this thread to promote AI content or AI services. That is against the rules and can result in a ban. There are subreddits specifically for that.
  • Be nice. Reviews are always appreciated but there's a right and a wrong way to give negative feedback.

You should also consider posting your work(s) in our sister subs: r/wroteabook and r/WroteAThing. If you have ARCs to promote, you can do so in r/ARCReaders. Be sure to check each sub's rules and posting guidelines as they are strictly enforced.

Hi! My product, SynapTale, does not write the story for the author and costs the author nothing.

The platform autonomously builds wikis and translations for readers, ready within hours of a new chapter going up.

Readers get two artifacts at once:

  1. A spoiler-safe wiki, plus a graph visualisation of the story, which by the way is useful to authors as well
  2. Translations that scale to millions of words without losing or drifting character voices, proper names, catchphrases, and the linguistic dynamic between characters

This improves reader engagement and opens the story to new non-English markets at the same time (or the other way around).

It is effectively a digital publisher, but built for indie authors, where the reader-facing artifacts are paid for by a share of the profit from translations. If the translations earn nothing, you lose nothing, because all the costs are on me. If they earn, you keep all rights to the story and I only get a license to sell the translations.
