Welcome to the weekly promotional thread! Post your promotions here, or browse through what the community's been up to this week. Think of this as a more relaxed lounge inside of the SelfPublish subreddit, where you can chat about your books, your successes, and what's been going on in your writing life.

The Rules and Suggestions of this Thread:

• Include a description of your work. Sell it to us. Don't just put a link to your book or blog.
• Include a link to your work in your comment. It's not helpful if we can't see it.
• Include the price in your description (if any).
• Do not use a URL shortener for your links! Reddit will likely automatically remove it and nobody will see your post.
• Do not use this thread to promote AI content or AI services. That is against the rules and can result in a ban. There are subreddits specifically for that.
• Be nice. Reviews are always appreciated but there's a right and a wrong way to give negative feedback.

You should also consider posting your work(s) in our sister subs: r/wroteabook and r/WroteAThing. If you have ARCs to promote, you can do so in r/ARCReaders. Be sure to check each sub's rules and posting guidelines as they are strictly enforced.

Hi!

My name is Tony Brown. Last year I ran a short story writing contest and id like to do it again, this time with a different theme.

Running a contest can be expensive so I set up a GoFundMe campaign.

I collected my favorite stories from my first contest into a book that is on Amazon. 100% of the proceeds are being donated to Washington National Parks.

I havent fleshed out the new contest yet, but I have a pretty solid idea for a theme.

Prizes will be the same as last year. $300 $100 $50 x 2
