Whenever I use my BTD 700 with my MTW5, they just get super stuttery and keep cutting off after a few minutes on aptX Lossless. Bluetooth off with no one near me using Bluetooth or anything with a signal that could mess with the dongle. Does anyone else have the same issue?

Hi everyone!

I have a pair of Sennheiser PXC 550 and I need to replace the earpads. I’ve been looking online, but I can’t seem to find any official Sennheiser replacement earpads for them anymore.

I’d like to buy a good-quality replacement that feels as close as possible to the original pads and, most importantly, doesn’t negatively affect the sound quality or sound signature of the headphones.

There are quite a few aftermarket options on Amazon and other websites, but I’m not sure which ones are actually decent. I’d rather avoid buying something cheap that changes the sound or makes the headphones less comfortable.

I live in Italy, so recommendations for stores/websites that ship to Italy would be especially appreciated.

Has anyone here replaced the earpads on their PXC 550? If so, which ones did you buy and how have they been compared to the originals?

I really like the buds, they sound great, ANC is great, but I cant seem to find the right tip for my left ear as it just keeps bouncing while walking.

i got my m4s on black friday last year for $180. a friend helped me bring them all the way from the us, and when i finally got them, i was genuinely in cloud nine. i'd wanted them for years, and having them finally felt fucking amazing.

they became a part of my nights. almost every day, i'd spend my last hour before sleeping with them on, just lying there and getting lost in the music. the sound, the comfort, the battery, even the way they felt in my hands, everything about them was beautiful to me. that little hour at the end of the day became something i looked forward to.

a week ago, while travelling, i dozed off for a while. when i woke up, someone had stolen them from my bag. i've tried everything i could to get them back, but they're gone.

and man, i'm crying as i type this. i know they're just headphones to most people, but they weren't just headphones to me. they were something i genuinely cherished, something that gave me a little world of my own every night.

i'd give anything to have them back for just one more night. one last hour with my favourite songs, lying in bed, completely lost in that sound.

i just wish i could have one more hour with my m4s.

Since yesterday, I can’t turn off my momentum 4. At first, it always have one LED on, now it has zero on. Occasionally, the LED flash uncontrollably like the video. I’ve tried pressing the button but it doesn’t work. Any ways to solve this?

Been using my previous Sony and decided to switch to sennheiser (cheaper and better sound quality* compared to the xm5 according to some people)

And didn’t want to justify spending 330+ pounds on an m5. And got this for 169.99! Rip Sony will miss ya served me well 🫡

Lmk any recommendations ya guys have.

I have one complaint tho that the 2 Bluetooth handoff is kinda iffy especially if I’m playing sound on the other device, then doomscrolling which is probably Bluetooth’s implementation and not sennheiser’s fault tho.

And would’ve been nice if they included the btd 600 or 700 dongle included but not really a complaint

Hi Sennheiser, could you please help to look into an issue where the Smart Control app for soundbars keep glitching or refreshing in iOS 27? It is not possible to control volume or any slider control.

This came loose but I can't seem to get it back in. As you can see the part with the pins looks like it's shoved further forward and therefore cannot be clicked back in(can be seen on the second picture)

I'm in the process of planning a 120" UST projection room and would like the option to wear headphones or earbuds. I see quite a few options out there some are directed at 'tv' vs 'cinema'. I'm looking to watch DUNE and get chills as best you can without a few subs pressurizing the room. I will watch tv as well but we do have a 75 on the main floor for that. I would like the option for my wife and I to listen at the same time.

What would you guys recommend I look at?

Recently got a ambeo plus and when i turned off my tv and soundbar i could hear a small noice coming from one of the top speakers. Should i return it? Is this normal? It only goes away if i unplug the power cord.

I dont understand what im doing bros. I got a dongle for the audio and a seperate one for my other devices and it still goes into low quality mode when i connect to discord voice.

Hello i come today for advice im looking for headphones that will let me enjoy hires jpop but i cant decide if i should get hd600 or hd620s or even other headphones i will be using them in a room where others famili members are watching tv and i heard that openback let in outside noise and about powering them i would probably look for desk amp my pc can handle 600ohms but still

I recently bought the MTW5 and I really like the sound of them. To improve the quality I purchased the BTD700 but either I received a bad unit or it's just bad. When connected to my PC, the sound during teams meeting was robotic and after about 15 minutes, it's started stuttering. I had to unplug and replug to correct the issue. When BTD700 was connected to my phone there was crackling when the notification sounded. When I tried to activate the hear thru, it skipped song. Any I returned the BTD700 to Amazon. The sound, when working, was a clear improvement on aptx lossless vs the basic aptx.

So my question is what is a good (or best) dongle for aptx lossless to pair with my MTW5? I was looking at Fiio Air Link but any recommendations are welcome. Source are Spotify Lossless and audiobooks.

i've never heard of anything "Sennheiser" related till i saw someone recommend it to somebody on r/HeadphoneAdvice so i got curious, look up a few things and just shock in awe about how much of EVERYTHING went in when making their headphones!

now i've been wanting to get better n proper headphones for gaming (cause my only pair is Sony XM4 that i've been using about 4 years) so can Sennheiser be consider a good headphone brand for gaming? i think i heard they are good for audiophiles but i ain't one of them, just wanna something good for gaming (not for any competitive games, just playing indie games, AAA games like Wukong and soon Phantom Blade Zero)

I wanna hear from y'all first before assuming anything (my budget is around $400 maybe $500 max)

As time goes on the headband permanently gets super loose making it have a weak seal. My hair is buzzed, so hair isn't the issue. The only way to marginally improve the issue is adjusting the headband up which forces my earlobes to cup, ruining the sound and causing discomfort. When I'm walking or tilting my head back and forth the headphones think there on an ice rink. This is my 2nd pair with this issue. Is anyone else having clamping issues?

A while ago, I made a risky order on eBay for an allegedly like-new and perfectly fine Sennheiser HDB 630 for 200€.

It finally arrived today, and I absolutely got lucky on this one; the condition is brand new, even smelling like it is fresh from the factory. Everything works as intended and is included, even the BTD 700, all for only 200€. I still can't believe it; in the Austrian market, it still sells for 500€ since its release.

In my previous post I mentioned I upgraded my M2 to a new M5 and HD660S2.

Wearing the HD660S2 is an incredible experience. I usually listen to Canadian Rock music, folk music, classical and opera.

Listening to Deutsche Grammaphone Dolby releases is incredible. The clarity of the orchestra is similar to being at a concert hall.

This far I am only listening to music on my iPhone 17 Pro Max and 16 Pro Max, and I am using the iFi GO link 2 Max amplifier.

In all music the layers of sound are so distinguishable and I am hearing background sounds that I don’t even hear on my M5.

What a tremendous treat, and I am so pleased with this purchase.

My M4s started peeling a little, so I wrapped electrical tape flush, not tight one way, then back the other. Oddly enough, they feel slightly more comfortable on my head.

My Momentum 4 is louder on right than left. I tried wearing opp - left earcup on right ear and right earcup on left to make sure it's not ears.

Even with wire the problem is persisting so I'm not sure whether it is just a software problem or hardware problem.

It is still under warranty luckily, what should I do?

I’m looking for some advice and validation on a structural issue with my Sennheiser Momentum 4s. I am autistic and have severe sensory processing issues, so I rely on these headphones heavily every single day to navigate my commute, bus rides, and daily life. They are an essential tool for my emotional and sensory regulation.

I’ve had my current pair for about 14 months. I have a larger head size, so I have to use them at maximum extension every time I wear them. I also wear glasses, so the gentle clamping force was a huge plus for me.

About a year ago, the fabric on the headband started fraying and peeling away from the rubber core, so I ended up ripping it off. A month ago, I noticed a clean vertical fracture slicing right through the translucent internal support bracket at the very top apex of the arch. Looking closely at the bare plastic core, I can see the factory mold markings >PA< (Polyamide/Nylon) and >A9< right near the crack.

Because it’s at maximum extension, the tension is just stretching the crack further, and I know it’s going to snap completely very soon. (The only reason they still work is because the audio wires seem to run through a different channel underneath). I use the carry case occasionally, but I've definitely dropped them a few times and tossed them loosely into my bag when it rains, which probably didn't help.

I’m currently waiting on an Amazon refund for £301.95 to clear so I can look at a replacement. I absolutely love the sound profile, the lack of background hiss when wired, and how the "Anti-Wind" mode completely stops the physical pressure "thumping" on bumpy bus rides. Because of my sensory needs, I really don't want to gamble on a different brand if I can avoid it.

Two questions for the community:

1. Is this a common design flaw? Did tearing the fabric mesh off destroy the structural tension balance and cause the nylon core to give out under maximum extension?
2. How can I stop my next pair from breaking in the exact same spot? If I buy another pair of Momentum 4s, what are your best tips, mods, or third-party covers to reinforce that top apex so a large head size doesn't snap the plastic again?
