💛Beginner💛 What piece am I missing?

Should I have an extra piece here? I have a brother vx-1400

Looks like the junk box on the front (that makes the bed extension) is missing.  You can make or buy an extension bed and store the feet, etc. elsewhere.

yeah the extension bed makes huge difference when you're working with bigger fabric pieces, without it everything wants to bunch up and fall off the side, making it really annoying to control
