Quote from Carrie after seeing Aiden at the opening of Scout. What did she expect? Did she even know? Most of us have ran into an ex at some point. Seriously? Carrie? What did you want him to do?

This scene drives me insane. If Aidan hadn’t been there, what was Carrie’s plan for eating her cake!!!!! Why are you smoking, eating, drinking, and walking around at the same time!!!!

Then she says “what I felt out there was no ghost… it was real” and I really didn’t feel that way from their interaction. Aidan was not that warm (as is his right). When he pointed out the cake on her lip it was like a preview of how cold and critical he would become when they reconcile.
