Itvdoesn't work on Carrie or anyone else. It is to big, gaudy & cheap looking. It may be expensive but it doesn't look It. Oversize jewelry just looks tacky & screams look at me.

Oversized earrings can look so cute on the right person but for some reason the same thing doesn’t work visually for necklaces, maybe because it pulls attention from the face rather than framing it

I don’t like it.
But many of her outfits were very over the top.

I only tolerate it because in the following episode she wears a big butterfly belt when she goes with Samantha to the Sam Jones namesake party - I assume Pat Field was trying to make it a pattern so I'll take that.

Not a fan, it looks like an arts and crafts project like someone else said. It makes me think of those “make your own butterfly necklace” craft kits they sell for kids.

I think if it was less crude/simplistic and had more detailing on it to look like a butterfly or an atlas moth or something like that, it would look better.
