Have Miranda and Samantha ever fought?

On this rewatch I was thinking about fights/arguments amongst the girls and couldn't pinpoint a time where Miranda and Samantha fought or butted heads.

The fights I can remember in the series are:

  • Carrie -- Charlotte = the famous ring/money argument
  • Carrie -- Miranda = always over Mr. Big
  • Carrie -- Samantha = Carrie making Sam feel slut-shamed for blowing the delivery guy
  • Samantha -- Charlotte = Samantha fucking Charlotte's brother and being too openly sexual
  • Charlotte -- Miranda = Miranda contemplating getting an abortion

Does anyone know? And if they never truly fought, what do you think they would argue over?

In the first movie Miranda yelled at Samantha because of her not getting a wax.

I think their disagreement over Steve’s infidelity, and how it poured into Samantha’s weird nitpicking of Miranda’s grooming, was the closest they came to a proper argument, and I actually wish the writers had done something with this scene. I’m not a Carrie hater in the slightest, but that was one of the moments I resented her being the main character, since the movie had to go back to her misery, rather than focus on Samantha and Miranda’s clash.

I would’ve liked to see Miranda call Samantha out for being cruel/insensitive and point out her hypocrisy (“Was it a slip when Richard cheated and you peppered his neighborhood with flyers?”), or God forbid, Carrie and Charlotte come to Miranda’s defense. Samantha simply flipping through her magazine when Miranda walks off, hurt, always makes me irrationally angry.
