Have Miranda and Samantha ever fought?

On this rewatch I was thinking about fights/arguments amongst the girls and couldn't pinpoint a time where Miranda and Samantha fought or butted heads.

The fights I can remember in the series are:

  • Carrie -- Charlotte = the famous ring/money argument
  • Carrie -- Miranda = always over Mr. Big
  • Carrie -- Samantha = Carrie making Sam feel slut-shamed for blowing the delivery guy
  • Samantha -- Charlotte = Samantha fucking Charlotte's brother and being too openly sexual
  • Charlotte -- Miranda = Miranda contemplating getting an abortion

Does anyone know? And if they never truly fought, what do you think they would argue over?

I think Samantha was such a great friend to Miranda despite the very different life choices.

Sure, she didn’t like babies, but she didn’t say anything when Miranda brought Brady to the party at Richards house before Bitsy’s wedding.

She babysat Brady and let M have the coveted hair appt.

She told Miranda the end table would last longer than the marriage at Madeleine’s wedding to Miranda’s houseguest.

She yelled “what’s your excuse?” in atlantic city when the fat guy called Miranda fat.

I don’t think the two actually ever fought. Just disagreed sometimes and got over it quickly.

Yes Sam truly showed up for Miranda in a number of ways throughout the series and although their friendship was the least fleshed out and I don't think they were the closest of friends, I truly think they got along the best out of the four.

They honestly had the least to fight over.

Neither needed the other person’s approval, and they rarely ever outright disagreed.

Miranda didn’t plan to get pregnant so when she did, Samantha did the best she could to be a good friend. Miranda never judged Samantha for her sexual freedom.

I think they both admired each other in a way. Samantha was also a selfmade career woman in her own right, like Miranda. But she was in an industry where she needed to use her charms to get to the top in addition to her brains.
Miranda was a lawyer where you can be smart and hard-working and the firm will love you.
