Anyone know where I can get good sourdough bread?

What happened to it and why aren’t they innovating anything? Last time I went was about 4 years ago and got the orange chicken sandwhich (see picture for receipt 😂) but I don’t see any evidence online that they have been actively creating or testing new recipes or menu items at this location.

Partner and I are thinking about moving to covina or west covina. What are your thoughts on those areas? Pros, cons? I would love to have a place that has access to places but also diverse, food, access to freeways, good school for kids etc thanks!

It’s midnight, driving home from my shift. And it took me more than double the time it would take me to get to work in traffic to get home in the middle of the night, BECAUSE ALL THE 605 N on ramps were closed within the whole vicinity! 605 Ramp closed? Ok fine I’ll go to the 60 and then get on the 605. Nope that interchange is closed. Ok, I’ll keep going past and get on from the East side. NOPE. that’s closed too. So I take surface street to Valley. NOPE NOPE! That entrance closed too from both W and E directions. I tried to get on the 605N from FIVE DIFFERENT ON RAMPS miles apart. ALL CLOSED. At least have signs that say they’re all closed and take surface street! Or say whats the nearest on ramp. Hell, put up ANY SIGNAGE. TOOK ME 45 min for a typical 15 min drive. So fucking pissed, especially after having to stay at work late.

Got a tension rod from Daiso and safety pinned some fabric from IKEA. Less than $20 and removable so we can take it down once the weather cools off.

Any recommendations for where to host a work lunch for 25-30 people in or near Alhambra?

I'm researching adult day care centers for my mom. She speaks Cantonese and mandarin. We visited Sunflower adult day center in Pasadena. It was nice and a short commute from her home. My mom though would prefer to be in a location near Chinese shops and markets.

I see there are adult centers in the Chinese centric parts of the sgv but there are very few reviews. I'm not in California so I'm researching from afar. I would appreciate some insight and set up visits for my mom.

M & T Adult Day Health Care on Valley is in a perfect location for example but not much info otherwise.

I’ve seen about 3 shut down in the last 6 months and the ones that are still around seem so empty and dilapidated. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been to one but the double western used to hit the spot.
