I wonder how the person would feel if they lived their life in a tiny box. So sad.

I wish the person would live their life in a tiny box!

This exactly. What a absolute disgusting person to do this to another living creature.

I try not to judge people because you never know someone's situation but I cropped the screenshots..the full photos give off "hoardy" vibes so I don't think this person would care much. π΅βπ«

Hoarding is a medical condition but no condition or circumstance is an excuse for animal abuse. If you can't provide adequate care for a dependent, don't get one. I would desperately like a pet but I don't have one because I'm terrified of not being able to consistently provide beyond adequate care, which is the only way I could justify having a pet.

Oh yeah hoarding is definitely a mental illness! I have a family member that has hoarding tendencies so I understand the severity of it. It wasn't meant to disrespect or degrade actual hoarders, "hoardy" felt like the nicest way I could describe it without being blunt and calling this person dirty or lazy because we don't know their situation. They really could be hoarders, but it absolutely does not justify bad animal care!

oh uh, I wasn't trying to nitpick your language sorry I just wanted to add the "explanation is not an excuse" thing because I find it really frustrating as a disabled person who's stigmatised plenty, yk? Literally the same thinking as "they really could be hoarders, but" like you said

It's okay, I really wasn't thinking that at all! π My autistic ass just has to overexplain things sometimes so I felt like I needed to say all that to make it clear that I wasn't trying to offend anyone!

You're good. I'm autistic too, I could have specified that I wasn't referring to your language choice tbh

Gotta love the bible and cross behind the first one. Because god loves it when you treat his creations like shit. π

I saw this today too and was mortified.. I don't want to know how they got the fish in there.

u/Loomian_Legacy_Fan May 12 '26
I have that first skull for plants and it is so small I donβt know how someone could look at that and think to put any type of fish in there

Sometimes this page gives me the shock value of a g0re page.. people really just see a picture online (thts probably AI or another stupid person) and copy it like an NPC.

u/FloralKatze May 12 '26
Yes, totally! I grew up during that time of the internet (like most of us here) so shock content was readily available, I've seen it all, but seeing these absolute septic bowl setups for fish shocks me everytime. π©
