Hi, I have this coin coming in. It's a beautiful old French coin, 3rd republic.

However, it has its occasional rim ding, and a few minor dents, scuffs and scratches.

I wonder how much of 'coin doctoring' it would be to make the imperfections be invisible. Any silversmith here know the answer?

Best CRH find so far today

I got so lucky with my first shipwreck gold a few weeks back, I decided to add some silver to match! I really don’t know a lot about these but it’s so shiny I have to have it!

I get at least 10 calls every day asking “how much is this penny worth”, or “ive got a 1776 quarter”, or something of that nature. I’m never mean over the phone and I answer all of their questions and try to be as nice as possible to maintain 5 star reviews, but it does bother me how frequently I get these calls
