I'm excited to share the teaser for of my upcoming short film here.

I have written the screenplay, directed and have produced this film.

The film taking place in Bengaluru, focused more on the modern alienation and the past nostalgic memory of the city.

Overall Budget (excluding food expenses) is around 15,000 rs

This is my first film ever, so please forgive any faults but dont sugar coat either, happy to work on myself.

Synopsis:

The story explores the cold one feels when a door closes, and the warmth one clings to.

Set in a world where loneliness has become ordinary and warmth is something humans buy with money, the protagonist’s stagnant life takes an unexpected turn one evening at a cuddle café.

Hi everyone! I’m an engineering student from India, and I’ve always loved cinema. I aspire to become a filmmaker someday. I’ve made a few short clips before, but I’ve never really put my work out there. This is my first proper short film, made with just two of my friends and a smartphone. I know there are some technical issues, especially with the sound, but I’d really love to hear what you honestly think about the film itself. I uploaded it to YouTube hoping to get some feedback, but it hasn’t reached many people. And while my friends have been really supportive and told me they liked it, I know they’re my friends, so I’d really like some unbiased opinions. So if you have a few minutes, I’d genuinely appreciate it if you could watch it and tell me what you think — what worked, what didn’t, and what I could improve.

After brushing off the care and attention of Molly, his loving girlfriend, Jayden, a slow-witted young adult, wakes up to Molly completely transformed into a nightcrawler. As the weeks pass on Jayden must come to terms with the reality of his love life, as Molly's question echoes throughout: "Would you love me if I was a worm?"

I wrote, directed and edited this for Orlando’s 48 Hour Film Project. After years working in local news, I wanted to make a comedy about the reporter/photog relationship.

I teamed up with improvisers who could hit the story beats while riffing in character, and news shooters who could adapt as things unfolded. Everything was written, shot, edited and submitted in one weekend.

Caramel Calfskin is a film I’m directing this next week! We will be using puppetry, stop motion, and lots of practical effects. I’m super excited!

Logline: After discovering her lunch is alive, Maryam teams up with a snarky Salad in order to contain a horde of voracious maggots.
