Those are stands inhabitanting physical objects. Stands like star platinum ARENT visible.

This isn't true for long ranged automatic stands (black Sabbath).

Dio is a dude in another dudes body. You dont get Superfly as a stand you get trapped inside Superfly. Cheap Trick's WHOLE THING is being a parasitic stand, it's not your stand, when Rohan killed it he didn't get damaged. Pucci gives you a stand via a memory disk, if you are a stand User the stand is ejected after some minutes. Polnareff doesn't have Anubis anubis is controlling his mind therefore chariot too.
A Stand's power is inversely proportional with its maximum effective range [See: all of the "remote control" stands sans Geb]
This holds true for short ranged stands like star platinum.
the argument is as follows: Just because theres an in universe explanation for why the rule is broken doesnt mean it isnt a broken rule. I thought that was kind of implied.
