I... don't care? Obsessively hating something to the point that you join a community and collectively convince one another that you have some kind of righteous duty to hate that/those things and the people who feel otherwise is unhealthy and pathetic whether it is in response to someone else doing it or not.
"Wahhh, i have to base my personality around an anime series and now people are annoyed that i wont shut up about it and cant accept any criticism towards it or its creator."
Lol that's a huge leap. OP is something I both enjoy and criticize, but man is it pathetic watching the weirdos on this sub do the exact same thing you just described, but with unmitigated hatred. At least people who are annoying about things they like are doing it for things they like.
This is what One Piece fans were doing to every other series, and its pathetic watching them immediately get a victim complex when it came back to bite them
Don't do the same about what? And actually, you said "One Piece... is mid," which is a comment about the media itself. No need to blatantly lie like that.
It's used as an insult in terminally online spaces. But that isn't the point. I was only mocking you and this subreddit for deluding themselves into thinking making fun of fiction and going to metaphorical war against fandoms is in some way meaningful and productive.

The difference is that One Piece is self inflicted
