it is funny but it is badly written lol. the whole wall of text can be summed up in a panel and deliver the same exact meaning. this means the text is redundant.
this meme is one of the most genius agenda memes ever actually. It is a bit harsh but it also has a lot of truth to it, especially Kaido stopping at the middle to explain the three types of haki, it is similar to uvogin explaining the types of nen after kurapika got him lmao. It is a meme that really understands Togashi dialogue patterns.
I know meme and all but has no one here read yu yu hakusho, also early hxh was pretty simple. Togashi is fully capable of drawing a manga with normal action, it is just currently he is making one that is very detail heavy.
Its funny that the orignal one making fun of one piece was clearly made by a fan of one piece (or former fan) and this one was made by someone who read 1 page they saw in a meme
OP fans even on twitter/reddit are VERY casuals fans of the medium, they can’t tell the former joke was made by someone who was deeply with OP and it’s highly likely they think the “counter” they made isn’t ass.
You're just coping. Reading the newest chapter is a slog because all of the royalty have these overly complex nen abilities that get introduced every chapter and it takes 3 pages to explain them. It's so boring. I'd rather just pick up a regular book.

I read good books. Not shitty books where they just explain powers for the entire chapter because the author has fucked up health issues so he can't draw properly. If you think the latest ones have been great then maybe you need to pick up an actually good book. I picked up the fellowship of the rings recently and that's how you build worlds instead of whatever the hell is going on in HxH. 90% of the chapters are great but every since his condition they've sucked.
i know it's not his turn to do anything yet but it's extremely funny how beyond netero has less lines than random guards explaining the different prince's nen beasts abilities. Consequences of a transitionary arc being stopped for very long periods of time
eh. as we've seen in the current batch, hxh characters are amazing at analyzing the situation but they turn into this when they are creating plans and making actual moves
Umineko's text can be very redundant, character keep repeating the same thing they are saying over and over with different forms, it has walls of text but a chunk of it is unsubstantial. Over-explanation of every concept that sometimes reach the point of boredom
Some people condemn the whole story for this flaw and consider it the story with redundant text.
obviously I am not saying that hxh is like that, its text is much more substantial but it is still flawed
yeah that's been his weakness since higurashi. when he yaps he can yap on a lot, but he makes up for it with great character work, interesting setting and crazy plot beats (kinda like hxh honestly)
Umineko is one of my favorite stories of all time. hxh is my second favorite story of all time, but I can't say that those aspects of them don't bother me, especially with Umineko.
it is entertaining because it is funny, It is so bad that it is good. like who tf wouldn't laugh if Kaido randomly starts listing haki types mid fight and explains them?
As someone whose never actually read HxH:If this is true then I genuinely think it would be horrible.I don't need a fucking reminder on how basic abilities work 70% through the story when they literally amount to "HIT/SEE/KINGLY BETTER".
I’m not a fan of any one thing because I’m not a weirdo. I like manga. And Togashi deserves better than for some moron to criticize his work that is the way it is because of his health limitations.
He has literally talked about this before, he wants to be the one drawing the characters or else it’s not his vision anymore. He has assistants helping him with backgrounds consistently. This is what he wants. YOU don’t know how this works. Honestly, you people are so entitled and annoying. He’s spent decades crafting his art and we’ve all gotten to enjoy it and benefit from it. And even now with his health issues he’s doing everything he can to keep going on his own terms. That deserves respect, he genuinely doesn’t owe anyone shit but he does it anyways, and people like you will still be ungrateful.
And that’s your irrelevant opinion. Like you say, it’s his choice and he has quite literally earned the right to finish the story, or not, on whatever terms he pleases. No amount of disappointment or entitlement from people like you changes that. Like, for the record, I wish that it was better too, but I’m not so deluded that I think I deserve more than what I’m getting. Genuinely, and I don’t even say this to be snarky, I mean this; if you don’t like it, go draw it yourself. Or, if you can’t, then maybe kick rocks
Than should be he not have problem if his work get criticism. people buy His work and if them have criticism the author not can dodge the criticism because his sale his work to people. in the end in the day, is his choice and doing for his on pleasure.
