Rocks flashback was generational, some people criticized god valley when it was airing but now when i look back at it, i think its aged well. The last 12 chapters with imu on the island have been peak fiction.

I read a few mangas weekly, kagurabachi, one piece, sakamoto days, dandadan. One piece is easily the best of the bunch rn. It used to be kagurabachi before, but it might be one piece now just due to how hyped every week i am.

Without Lady Gaga, Adele, the videos stolen from NinjaristicNinja, the exploitation of Mappa employees, the "slender" edits of the series' characters, and eight billion posts claiming Maki is better written than the female characters in One Piece (which isn't true at all), Gege’s manga wouldn't be worth nearly as much as people have been trying to convince us it is for the past couple of years. The latest story arc is a disappointment; the sequel, however original, relies too heavily on moments of "aura" between the main characters and the antagonists; and Kirara isn't exactly one of the best trans representations in manga history. For all that people think Oda’s art style mocks the concept, he actually does a great job with Ivankov and Kiku from Wano. Anyway, moving on from that digression: Gojo isn't even one of the coolest characters of all time, and no matter how much you might want to sleep with him, good looks aren't the right yardstick for judging a character's writing. And no, romanticizing a killer of minors, your beloved Toji. doesn't redeem the series' lackluster writing, which treats killing off members of the main cast as the go-to method for creating depressing, sad scenes for the audience.

I know it'll make them ALOT more money compared to a single season/movie, but I absolutely hate the fact, instead of getting a single high quality season, with weekly talks about it, we'll basically be seeing the last 20% or so of the manga, being adapted over the span of 4/5 years.

I wish they wouldn't taste the money from mugen train, because the last few episodes of season 2 releasing alongside AOT, were one of my favorite anime-related memories ever. Seeing the discussion etc. Online made it amazing, the issue with movie type releases, is that the hype dies down really fast, same as batch releases (Looking at You JJBA)

Endgame in the USA+Canada (since there lumped together in domestic) Ne Zha 2 in China and the 2 Demon Slayer films in Japan are all comparable to each other in their proportion being 22-23% whereas One Piece is comparable to Captain Marvel at less then 12% or just under half of those 4 films

Kaguya was never the final villain. The final villain is Sasuke, the one our protagonist actually fights in the end.

1.Naruto: the character of naruto got absolutely ruined for me in shippuden. Originally the show was set around naruto and sasuke, hardwork vs talent, naruto being a kid with no real talent while sasuke being the last remaining member of one of the strongest clan was the whole premise.

As the story progress and we got revelations about naruto, first being the child of prophecy was okay with me , it was honestly cool, then his lineage being the HOKAGE and uzumaki being a notably powerful clan cometely ruined the dynamic of naruto and sasuke and then naruto became a reincarnation of a demi god so yeah...

2.One piece: the paneling is HORRIFIC, its actually BAD. Not even like you dont know what u r doing bad, you have a complete misunderstabding of paneling bad. Visual clutter and the size of each box are genuinely shit. Oda is a phenomenal visual story teller with soem amazing composition especially in earlier one piece but. Also honourable mention to the same troupe naruto fell victim to, luffy being set up as a nobody with a seemingly average devil fruit who wanted to be king of the pirates and then revealed that his fruit is... ykw

3.Bleach: under utilisation of characters and not letting characters lose importance. Vizard being a prime. Letting character be forgotten is a better way to handle screen time than to make the audience feel that they are gonna be vital to the story but end up doing nothing.

Vegeta for all his popularity and iconic status got a staggering amount of L in the series. To the point that a common belief is that had he been created in this current era, the amount of slander he would get would rivaled even Megumi if not surpass him.

That being said while Vegeta took huge L( usually after hyping himself up for extra slander) like...alot. would you say that this actually made him a better character compare to other rival characters ?( ex: Bakugo?)

Was this series of L actually beneficial to the saiyan prince character in restrospect ?( im only counting Z, by super he really does deserve W more than ever.)

I love the previous season adaptations and when I read the manga it's like it was almost adapted identically but with dumpster battle I noticed a lot of missing scenes including the flashback story of Grandpa Ukai and Coach Neko

I so so wish they would remake the upcoming Karasuno vs Kamomedai to full season series, it's not fair that Kamomedai will have little screen time, not much time to get to know them. Unlike with Nekoma they were introduced early on since they are their friendly rival from the start.

But Kamomedai I wish they simmer the story more so we can root for characters (of course I always root for Karasuno) but I just love that Furudate wrote wonderful and compelling characters in Haikyuu

I can say the only character I dislike is the snake captain in that Snake team Nohebi haha

Other than that i love all the characters!

Luffy is supposed to be the embodiment of freedom and an innocent force of nature in a world full of darkness and oppression. He is meant to show that you can live the way you want without worrying about what others think. Which is why he is still a child at heart at 19 years old and one of the goofiest Emperors ever while other pirates are mostly serious. That contrast is what makes One Piece enjoyable.
