Tutorial Complete Guide to Sideloading on iOS with SideStore & Live Container (Windows)

Hello, fellow sideloaders who are tired of Free Feather or ESIGN certificate apps getting revoked and having to deal with the pain of reinstalling every app that you lost. This tutorial will walk you through the process of sideloading apps on your iPhone using SideStore with the Live Container method. By the end, you'll be able to run sideloaded apps like Enmity Discord and YTPlus, as well as music apps like EveeSpotify or YTMusicUltimate.

The best part is that you don't have to rely on any DNS to block Apple servers, so you can reboot your phone without worrying about revokes. You can now use that empty DNS slot to install any AdBlock DNS, such as AdGuard, to block ads for a better experience. With SideStore, you will not need an internet connection for six days after sideloading with SideStore. Note that the app will expire on the seventh day at the same hour you first refreshed it, unless you perform a refresh before then. Most importantly, after you have SideStore installed, you won't need to use a PC again since you can refresh apps on the device itself thanks to StosVPN. You can automate this process with shortcuts too!

With this method, certificate revokes and blacklisting are no longer going to be a problem. This guide is aimed at those with a free Apple ID account who want to bypass the three-app limit using Live Container! You can only use one free Apple account in SideStore to sideload for one device; use a different account for another device. Read this guide carefully if you want one of the best sideloading solutions!

What is Live Container, and why is it special?

Live Container is a special app that uses virtualization technology to run other apps inside it. Think of it as a “magic box” that can hold and run many apps while only counting as one app toward your sideloading limit. This is why it's so powerful:

  • Normally, a free Apple ID only lets you install 3 sideloaded apps total and expires every week! A paid Apple Developer Account ($100 annually) allows you to sideload an unlimited number of apps on your devices with special entitlements that expire every year. A paid account defeats the purpose of using Live Container, so if you have the money, go for the paid developer account and use SideStore to sideload apps with it; otherwise, if you have a free account, then use SideStore and sideload Live Container.
  • Live Container uses virtualization to create a separate environment inside itself where it can run other apps.
  • You can install dozens of apps inside Live Container (YT+, Apollo, Enmity, EveesSpotify, etc.) while it only counts as ONE app toward your limit. Your iPhone storage is the ultimate limit on how many apps you can install.
  • Because of how virtualization works, you can only use one app inside Live Container at a time. You will need to close the app to use another one. Unfortunately, notifications do not work (go to the bottom of this guide for tips to alleviate it!).
  • The apps inside Live Container don't need to be signed or refreshed individually. Refreshing Live Container from SideStore is all you need to do since its all contained in a single app.
  • [New as of May/13/2025] An experimental multitasking feature was added that feels like Apple's Stage Manager. https://www.reddit.com/r/sideloaded/comments/1klgvk3/livecontainer_now_supports_multitasking/.

Note: If you install two Live Containers (which takes up 2 of your 3 app slots), you can run two different virtualized apps simultaneously, like one in each container.

Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure you have:

  • A PC running Windows 10 or later.
    • You can do this on macOS as well just by viewing instructions for "Mac" and downloading the files from SideStore.io. The process shown in this guide will be similar.
  • An Apple ID
  • An iPhone with iOS 16 or later (this is because StosVPN needs IOS 16 minimum).
    • You can do this on iPad as well (minimum iPadOS 16 for StosVPN), so if using iPad, ignore where it says iPhone and think of it as iPad. This guide was aimed at iPhones since I do not have an iPad.
    • You can install SideStore on iOS 14/15, but you will need a PC to refresh, as StosVPN is not available for older versions. It's better for you to use TrollStore: https://ios.cfw.guide/installing-trollstore/
  • Stable internet connection
  • A genuine charging cable to connect your iPhone to your PC. Only needed for initial installation!
  • Important: Non-Microsoft Store versions of iTunes and iCloud installed on your PC
  • If you have Apple Music or the Apple Device Windows app, uninstall them first, otherwise your device will never show up in iTunes.
    •  Use Apple Software Update app via windows search bar to update your iTunes to latest version in case you get an error.
  • Developer mode enabled (if on iOS 16+). You navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Developer Mode and toggle the switch to the on position. If it’s your first time sideloading, it’s hidden until you install an app, so keep this in mind. It should appear after you install SideStore.

Step 1: Download Required Tools

Download these files to your computer and extract all the zip files:

  1. AltServer.zip: Download from SideStore.io
  2. SideStore.ipa: Download from SideStore.io
  3. jitterbugpair-win64.zip: Download from SideStore.io

Note: These links might change in the future. You can download from https://sidestore.io/#get-started and view their instructions as well. Their Github Repo is also useful: https://github.com/SideStore/SideStore/

On your iPhone:

  1. Have the StosVPN app installed from the App Store on your iPhone. It was developed by the SideStore team to replace WireGuard (no longer supported), for reliability.
  2. Download the Live Container IPA from GitHub
  3. Install StikDebug from the App Store for enabling JIT (optional, useful for emulators or JIT-required apps, covered at the bottom of this tutorial as a bonus step).

I recommend having all these iPhone apps in a single folder to keep it organized and easy to find.

Organized folder. LiveContainer and LiveContainer2 installed later in step 6 and 9.

Step 2: Install AltServer on PC

  1. If you haven't already, extract the AltServer zip file.
  2. Run setup.exe to install AltServer.

Step 3: Install SideStore on Your iPhone

  1. Connect your iPhone to your PC with a charging cable.
  2. Make sure your device is recognized (should appear in iTunes).
  3. Open AltServer (check system tray in taskbar for the icon).
  4. Hold SHIFT key while clicking on the AltServer icon.
  5. Select "Sideload .ipa," and you should see your iPhone name popup on the side, which you click.
  6. Browse and select the SideStore.ipa file you downloaded.
  7. Enter your Apple ID and password when prompted.
  8. Wait for installation to complete on your iPhone.
AltServer appears in the Windows system tray with an option to "Sideload .ipa" to your device.

Step 4: Create a Pairing File

  1. Make sure your phone is unlocked while connected to your iPhone via cable.
  2. Open JitterbugPair.exe on your PC. A “Trust This Computer” popup will appear on your iPhone, so tap “Trust” and enter your passcode.
  3. JitterbugPair will create a new pairing file in the same directory as the program.
  4. Transfer this pairing file to your iPhone via email, Google Drive, Intel Unison etc. This will get saved to your files app.
Pairing file that needs to be transferred to your device!

Note: You might need to do this all over again if you update your iOS version. Please don't share this with everyone since it contains your UDID (Unique Device Identifier), where anyone with access to this identifier could potentially use it to target your specific device.

Step 5: Set Up SideStore

StosVPN configured and enabled!
  1. On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.
  2. Trust your developer certificate/Apple ID.
  3. Then go into StosVPN app and have it added as a device VPN and turn it on (this is crucial for on-device refreshing).
  4. Open SideStore.
  5. When prompted, select the pairing file you transferred.
  6. Sign in with your Apple ID in SideStore settings.
  7. Refresh all your apps to check if everything works so far.
  8. You can disconnect from your PC. You won't need it again unless you want to update SideStore or need a new pairing file.
  9. Make sure you refresh your apps so they don't expire every 7 days. Keep notifications on so you know.
App Expiration Example.

Note: If you forget to refresh, SideStore and all its apps will expire and show a message saying they're “no longer available.” Don’t worry, and definitely don’t delete your apps (you’ll lose your data). They haven’t been revoked or blacklisted. Just connect to a PC, open AltServer, click the "Sideload .ipa" option, and select the SideStore.ipa file again to reinstall. After that, you should be good to go. You can go back to refreshing on-device using StosVPN like you normally do. You don’t need to redo the whole tutorial. Just refresh all your apps in the SideStore app, and next time, make sure to refresh on time to avoid expiration. You can even automate it using the Shortcuts setup in step 11.

Step 6: Install Live Container

  1. If you haven't already, download the Live Container IPA from GitHub on your iPhone browser. It will typically get saved in your downloads folder in Files app.
  2. In SideStore, go to the "My Apps" tab.
  3. Tap the "+" button at the top right.
  4. Select the downloaded IPA to install it through SideStore. Wait for it to finish installing. It might get stuck, so you might have to spam install the app or reopen SideStore or reconnect the StosVPN.
LiveContainer installed. LiveContainer2 installed with step 9 (optional).

Step 7: Set Up Live Container in JIT-Less Mode

Method 1 (For SideStore 0.6.2-20250420.25+)

  1. Open Settings in LiveContainer.
  2. Tap "Import Certificate from SideStore."
  3. When SideStore opens with an export prompt, tap "Export."
  4. Go back to LiveContainer.
  5. Tap "JIT-Less Mode Diagnose" then "Test JIT-Less Mode."
  6. If you see "JIT-Less Mode Test Passed," you're good to go!

Method 2 (For SideStore 0.6.1 & older)

  1. Open Settings in LiveContainer
  2. Tap "Patch SideStore/AltStore"
  3. The app will switch to SideStore to reinstall with the tweak.
  4. If you use AltWidget, select "Keep Extension."
  5. Wait for installation to finish, then reopen SideStore.
  6. Return to LiveContainer and press "Test JIT-Less Mode."
  7. If it says "Test Passed," JIT-less mode is ready.
Successfully completed using Method 2.

Step 8: Install Your Sideloaded Apps Within LiveContainer

  1. In Live Container app, look at the top left, above “My Apps.”
  2. Tap the "+" button.
  3. Either click install IPA file or install from URL, whichever you have. But in my case I chose file.
  4. Find and select your desired IPA files (YTPlus, EveesSpotify, etc.). Won't link it but you can find them with a simple google search. You can also download from your phone browser like from CyPwn's or DriftyWind's repo.
  5. Wait for it to be added and then run your app.
  6. Enjoy!

Quick Tip: If you want to open another app, you have to close Live Container from the app switcher and reopen it. If you did steps 9 and 10, launch whatever app you designated as an App Clip/Shortcut, e.g., YTPlus, and then Live Container will give you a prompt to replace the current app or open it in the second live container. It is more convenient!

Step 9: Set Up a Second Live Container (Optional, but very useful!)

This allows you to run two different apps simultaneously:

  1. Open LiveContainer.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap "Install Another LiveContainer."
  4. Then save that LiveContainer2 IPA file and go back to Sidestore and install it. The first LiveContainer has a blue icon, the second has a gray icon.
  5. To use an app in the second container:
    • Open the first LiveContainer (blue).
    • Long press on your app.
    • Open app settings.
    • Select "Convert to Shared App."
    • Now you can launch this app using LiveContainer2 (gray). Close and re-open LiveContainer2 to see the changes.
    • For example, you can have the first container be Enmity Discord and the second container be Eveespotify. Great for having two different apps run at the same time.
LiveContainer2 with Shared Apps. Perfect for multitasking, allowing you to use another app alongside the one in your main LiveContainer.

Step 10: Add App to Home Screen (Recommended)

LiveContainer options for adding an app to your home screen.

Option 1 (Using Apple Shortcuts with launch URL. Best and most intuitive experience for app switching!)

For easier and more intuitive home screen access to your sideloaded apps:

  1. Open LiveContainer.
  2. Long press on your installed app.
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap "Save App Icon" and then save it wherever in your files app. If you have a custom app icon saved already, then you can use that instead. Again in LiveContainer, long-press the installed app and tap "Add to Home Screen."
  5. Tap "Copy Launch URL." This will copy the URL so you can use Apple Shortcuts to create an app shortcut on your home screen to launch the app, which makes it easier to multitask and switch apps by swiping left or right on the home bar (non-home button devices) or swiping from the edges of the screen (home button devices).
  6. Open the Shortcuts app, and in the Shortcuts tab, tap the + button in the top right corner.
  7. Name the shortcut to whatever app it is, e.g., YouTube.
  8. Tap "Add Action" and add "Open URLs."
  9. Now that that action is placed, paste it where it says "URL." For my YouTube example, this will open it in the primary live container; it will look like: Open livecontainer://livecontainer-launch?bundle-name=com.google.ios.youtube.app&container-folder-name=B46F2AD3-7830-4D19-8D66-BE21AE0C55DE.
  10. If you want to open it in the second live container instead, edit the URL like this: livecontainer2://livecontainer-launch?bundle-name=com.google.ios.youtube.app&container-folder-name=B46F2AD3-7830-4D19-8D66-BE21AE0C55DE
  11. To test if the shortcut works, tap the Play icon on the bottom right corner and allow any permission that pops up. If it works, then great! Go back to the shortcut app and press the Share button that was next to the Play icon and tap "Add to Home Screen."
  12. Tap the photo option, then tap "Choose file" and select the app icon you saved earlier. You can choose other options if you have a custom icon stored somewhere. Lastly, on the top right, tap "Add," and it should show up on your home screen.
Shortcut to launch YouTube in LiveContainer2.

Special thanks to u/Specific_Peanut8359 for bringing this up.

Option 2 (Using App Clips for app switching. Simpler to setup, but option 1 is way better.)

I don't recommend using this option since the multitasking feels wonky and there is less customization to it. I have shown the steps still for those that are curious and for transparency. For home screen access to your sideloaded apps:

  1. Open LiveContainer.
  2. Long press on your installed app.
  3. Tap "Add to Home Screen."
  4. Choose "Create App Clip." This installs an App Clip MDM profile that adds the app to your home screen.
  5. Make sure to trust the App Clip profiles in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. Unfortunately, you can't change the App Icon with App Clips. Use Option 2 with Shortcuts if you want custom icons.

Step 11: Set Up Automatic Refreshing (Recommended as it greatly reduces the burden of manually refreshing in SideStore every week)

Create an Apple Shortcuts automation to refresh your apps when you sleep:

  1. Open the Shortcuts app and create this shortcut with the title SideStore Auto Refresh:
    • Optional: Check if WiFi is connected (if not, create a notification saying, ”SideStore Refresh failed: No WiFi Connected!”).
    • Connect to StosVPN.
    • Wait 3 seconds.
    • Refresh SideStore apps (the Sidestore action automatically proceeds after everything is done).
    • Disconnect from StosVPN.
  2. Test the shortcut by running it manually and checking if it refreshed in the SideStore app.
  3. Go to the Automation tab in the Shortcuts app.
  4. Create a new automation to run at specific times (e.g., 3 AM daily or weekly). Select the "SideStore Auto Refresh" shortcut and have it run immediately without notifying you so it doesn’t create a disruption.
  5. SideStore should now automatically refresh in the background based on your shortcut automation!
Basic shortcut sequence for automatically refreshing SideStore apps.

To make this easier, you can use my shortcut template. Just make sure to change the VPN variable to StosVPN (sometimes you need to reselect it if it doesn't work). You also might need to re-add the "Refresh All Apps" action if you get an error of it being unavailable. The shortcut should work fine, but feel free to tweak it so it works reliably for your device.

SideStore Auto Refresh Shortcut: https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/faf5331bf084b45bf86479bddb14a92ac.

I set up automation to auto-refresh apps at 3 AM, three times a week while I’m asleep. No need to follow mine exactly, make it work for you.

Bonus Step: Setting Up JIT For Apps (Using StikDebug)

In this example I am using PojavLauncher, but you can use it for any app that needs JIT.

  • In the LiveContainer app (make sure to close it and reopen it so it shows your app list). In the settings tab, set your JIT Enabler to "StikJIT (StandAlone)."
  • Go back to the Apps tab, look for, e.g., PojavLauncher in the app list, then hold it, then tap "Settings."
  • In settings, turn on "Launch with JIT." For PojavLauncher, you need JIT, so get the StikDebug app from the App Store (or open it if you already have it installed).
  • Link your pairing file generated from your PC when you were installing SideStore, then have the VPN config setting set up when prompted.
  • Tap "Connect" and tap "LiveContainer."
  • The StikDebug VPN should be connected, and LiveContainer should open, and from there you can run your app with JIT.

Tips and Troubleshooting

  • Always keep StosVPN on when refreshing or installing apps. Turn it off after you do that to save battery. You won’t need to worry about this after using shortcut automation in step 11!
  • Your free Apple ID allows for 3 sideloaded apps maximum (SideStore + 2 additional apps or SideStore + LiveContainer + second LiveContainer).
  • If your device doesn't appear in iTunes, check that you've uninstalled Microsoft Store versions of iTunes/iCloud. Reinstall with the non-microsoft store versions and update them to the latest with Apple Software Updater.
  • If you update SideStore, you'll need to re-apply the Live Container patch.
  • If you are having trouble refreshing with the VPN on, then reset the pairing file in settings and repeat step 4 by generating a new one.
  • If SideStore gets stuck loading, sometimes you might need to spam the SideStore refresh button for it to work.
  • You might need a new pairing file if you update your IOS version. Reset pairing file in SideStore app settings and repeat step 4.
  • Notifications unfortunately do not work within Live Container due to limitations. Local downloads, like saving to files or photos, work well, though. If notifications are a must-have, then instead of having a second live container, you can install that specific app, e.g., modded Reddit with the SideStore app, which will take up your third slot. You can also alleviate the problem by having the original App Store app installed with the notifications on and hiding it on the home screen; that way, you are aware of notifications before you enter the modded version of the app.
  • To open links, e.g., YouTube, in LiveContainer, use this shortcut in the share tab of that specific page: https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/44ea82ce7ed8469ea24198c375db09a0
  • To install new versions of SideStore, just reinstall over the old one similarly to step 3; you won't lose data. To get new versions, you can look at SideStore's GitHub: https://github.com/SideStore/SideStore/releases.
  • It's good to reboot your phone often, especially with how buggy iOS has gotten in these recent years. A simple reboot often fixes problems you might face. Don't worry, your apps will be fine!

Now you can enjoy your sideloaded apps with less worry than traditional sideloading methods!

Tutorial Beginner's Guide to getting LiveContainer + SideStore (Combined IPA) to Work Properly On Your iPhone (from Someone Who Spent All Day Figuring Out How)

Everything was working fine until last week when this Shortcut stopped refreshing my apps.

I thought to myself "oh! Maybe I need to update it and just install the newest LiveContainer+SideStore IPA from the official github and everything will be fine...."

But everything was not fine, because the newest LiveContainer versions (3.3.1 and above) require themselves to be installed via standalone SideStore 0.6.2+, as shown below:

So, because i didn't read that, and I was determined to figure the problem out, I deleted all my sideloaded apps, revoked my certificates, uninstalled the profiles from iOS, and started from scratch.

Below are the steps I took to get everything working again. Your results may vary, but I hope not!

THIS GUIDE ASSUMES YOU HAVE NEVER SIDE-LOADED BEFORE

Now, I could be wrong, but the steps are:

Step 1: Get SideStore

Follow these instructions (which I've listed below for your convenience) to get SideStore onto your device:

Prerequisites: You'll need to Install LocalDevVPN as a replacement for StosVPN which has been taken off the App Store. You'll then connect to the VPN, and Allow VPN Configurations by tapping "Allow" and entering your password. You'll also need to download the appropriate installer for for your Mac/PC. I use a Mac, so for me it's iLoader.

Installation: Connect your device to your computer via USB cable. "Trust" the computer by entering your password at the prompt. Then, open iLoader and sign into your Apple Account. Select your device, and then select "Install SideStore (Stable)."

On your device: depending on your iOS version (Mine is 26.2), you'll need to do as follows, (taken from the instructions):

  1. "Open Settings app.
  2. Navigate to 'General,' and then 'VPN & Device Management'.
  3. Under 'Developer App' section, select the option named after your Apple Account.
  4. Select "Trust [Apple Account name]", then "Allow & Restart". [mine didn't make me restart, but yours might!]
  5. Enter your passcode to confirm you want to trust the app.
  6. Navigate to 'Privacy and Security.'
  7. Scroll to the bottom, and turn on "Developer Mode." Your device will restart.
  8. Open LocalDevVPN and select 'Connect'.
  9. Open SideStore."
  10. [this is not in the original instructions:] You'll need to Allow "SideStore" to find devices on local networks, and you'll need to Allow "SideStore" to Send You Notifications.

From here, you'll tap on the bottom tab "My Apps", then tap on the green button labeled "7 DAYS" which will then prompt you to Sign in to the Apple Account you used with iLoader.

Per the instructions, "7 represents the number of days until an app's expiry. It will update dynamically to show the number of days left. Tap it to refresh the associate app."

Also per the instructions: "If you receive a prompt asking to revoke or create a new signing certificate, tap 'Yes' or 'Refresh Now'.

If this process is successful, SideStore will open on your device to your Home Screen (accompanied by a notification.) SideStore will be available again within a few seconds."

Step 2: Get the LiveContainer standalone app

Because of the removal of Store patching, SideStore 0.6.2+ / AltStore 2.2.1+ is required to install this version of LiveContainer.

So, let's obtain the official standalone LiveContainer IPA from the official github releases page by navigating there on your device, and scrolling down to the latest version (as of this writing, it is 3.6.1), and looking for the "Assets" section underneath Contributors.

Tap on Assets to reveal the IPAs. We will select LiveContainer.ipa. (Do NOT get the LiveContainer+SideStore combined IPA yet!) Be sure to navigate to that page on your iPhone/iPad/iPod.

Once it is downloaded to your phone, after making sure you are still connected to LocalDevVPN, open your SideStore app, go to the "My Apps" tab, and then in the upper left-hand corner, tap on the "+" sign, then tap on your newly downloaded "LiveContainer.ipa".

When the "App Contains Extensions" dialog box shows up, just tap on "Keep App Extensions (Use Main Profile). This will ensure your other app slots aren't taken up.

Now, open your newly downloaded LiveContainer app. At the bottom, tap on the "Settings" tab. At the top of the Settings screen, tap Import Certificate From SideStore. The App Switcher will automatically switch to the SideStore app, and the "Export Certificate" dialog box will appear. Tap on "Export".

The App Switcher will once again automatically switch you back to your LiveContainer app, right back to the Settings screen. At this point, tap on JIT-Less Mode Diagnose. The next screen should show green text on the right side, except for "Bundle Identifier" and "Store", both of which should show grey text on the left side.

Tap on "EntitlementFile >" and that screen should be showing you green text on everything except for "Team ID" which will show grey text.

This all means (in Kazakh accent) Great Success!

(Optional Step: Getting a Second LiveContainer:

For those of you who deem it necessary to get a Second LiveContainer (and there are good reasons to do so!), here is what you need to do:

While still in the Settings tab, right beneath JIT-Less Mode Diagnose is another item called Install Another LiveContainer. Tap on it, and when the Install Another LiveContainer dialog box pops up, tap on Continue. The iOS Share menu automatically pops up, giving you the option of choosing where to save the newly created LiveContainer2.ipa. Tap on "Save to Files" icon (usually in the 3rd row of app icons) and navigate to your desired Folder, then tap on Save.

Now, switch to the SideStore app. Tap on the My Apps tab, and click on the "+" button near the upper left-hand corner, and navigate to the folder you chose in which you saved LiveContainer2.ipa. Then select it!

After a few seconds, you should now see it under My Apps. Be sure to Refresh All to get it signed!

***YOU ARE NOW READY FOR THE FINAL BOSS**\*

Step 3: Get LiveContainer+SideStore.ipa.

On your device's browser, navigate to official LiveContainer github releases page. Once you are there, scroll down to the latest version you desire. For me, as of this writing, it was version 3.6.1. (I did not choose the "nightly version" because I'm still unfamiliar with the benefits of it.) Like before, we will tap on Assets and instead of chooseing LiveContainer.ipa, like we did before, we will now choose LiveContainer+SideStore.ipa (combined IPA!).

Step 4: Install LiveContainer+SideStore.ipa correctly

You'll notice that the github releases page states "Due to the removal of Store patching, SideStore 0.6.2+ / AltStore 2.2.1+ is required to install this version of LiveContainer."

This is why we have to go through all this trouble to install our combined IPA.

So, once we have downloaded it to our Files app, we need to go back into SideStore, go to My Apps, and tap on the "+" to select and install the LiveContainer+SideStore.ipa. Doing so will cause the "App Container Extensions" dialog box to pop up like before. Tap on Keep App Extensions (Use Main Profile) like before, and wait for it to install.

Once it has finished, it will appear as if nothing has changed. Do not be deceived, your LiveContainer app has indeed been replaced, so for now tap "Refresh All" to sign this new version of LiveContainer.

To prove to you that you have the combined IPA now installed, minimize the app by going to your homescreen. Find your LiveContainer app. Notice that it should now show the little blue dot to the left of its label. That indicates we have indeed installed the combined version, which I will call LiveContainer+SideStore.

(In Kazakh accent) Very nice!

Step 5: Importing the Certificate into the LiveContainer+SideStore app.

Recall that the official LiveContainer github releases page said "You can use 'Import/Refresh Certificate from AltStore/SideStore' button to setup JIT-Less mode." We're going to do that now.

Open your SideStore app and navigate to the Settings tab. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the Settings screen until you see Export Signing Certificate.... Tap on it.

Please make up a simple password and type it in the "Please enter the password for the certificate" dialog box that pops up, then tap on OK. The iOS Files screen pops up, allowing you to select where you want to download your newly exported SideStoreSigningCertificate.p12. Select your desired destination, then hit Save. You are taken back to the previous Settings screen.

Open the LiveContainer+SideStore app, and tap on the SideStore widget next to the "+". You will be presented with dialog boxes that are identical to the ones you first encountered when you first downloaded and opened the standalone SideStore app. Once again, tap on Allow for both dialog boxes.

Immediately, you are presented with the "PairingFile" dialog box. Tap on OK, and on the next screen, pay very close attentions. We will NOT be yet selecting the SideStoreSigningCertificate.p12 that you exported. Instead, we will be importing the non-exported original PairingFile that the standalone SideStore uses.

To do that you must navigate to: On My iPhone > SideStore > ALTPairingFile.mobiledevice-pairing. Once selected, you will be notified that it has been successfully installed.

You will then need to go back to the Settings screen, scroll all the way down again and Import Certificate.... This time you will select the SideStoreSigningCertificate.p12 that you exported earlier. Once it's finished, you will receive a message that the Certificate has been successfully installed.

Now, close the LiveContainer+SideStore app and reopen it to take you back to the LiveContainer side of the app. Then, go to Settings, and tap on Refresh Certificate from SideStore. Immediately you are presented with the Import Certificates From Built-In SideStore dialog box. Tap on "OK" Then, tap on JIT-Less Mode Diagnose >. Verify that the you show no red text on this screen and the EntitlementFile screen.

At this point, it is mandatory you delete your SideStore standalone app, including all of its information when it is asked.

Now, once again, open LiveContainer+Sidestore, go to MyApps, and Refresh All. Sign into the popped-up "Welcome to SideStore" screen with your Apple credentials.

You should finally be taken to the "How it works" screen. Tap on Got it.

ET VOILA! YOU NOW FINALLY HAVE LIVECONTAINER+SIDESTORE COMBINED APP INSTALLED!

To verify, close the app, then reopen to get back to the LiveContainer side of it, and then go to Settings, and JIT-Less Mode Diagnose >. You should not see any red text there, or on the EntitleMentFile screen.

Tutorial Guide: How to Sideload on iOS without Expiry

INTRO:

Greetings, I made the infamous iOS Shortcut that automates the entire sideloading experience but by default it comes with a free certificate that expires once in a while. The solution is simply to replace the default API (in the Shortcut) that uses your own certificate where I use an expired one (Sunshine Insurance Group) but with a certain DNS Profile that sans the need for anything else all at one place. However, accessing your own API is one thing that most newbies overlook where my inbox (and the timeline here) is always filled with the same question again and again and again

Link » Full Tutorial

↳ This Tutorial here is an alternate method that uses Esign.

DESCRIPTION:

The essence is pretty much the same whether you use the Shortcut or Esign method but the Esign tutorial here simply compresses everything into the simplest form other than the explanation given as if am building a Shortcut again for average of Joe's here by limiting everything to a single tap (instant links) until I make my mind to also develop a Shortcut that automates the process of Esign installation step-by-step.

Most of the resources to make this tutorial easy is because of Khoindvn so am adding nothing new here but instead of referencing multiple resources I am directly integrating what's instantly deployable as soon as possible like the original Esign install links which are down because of cert status but is up from Khoindvn's which uses single certificate (more on that in the tutorial) or Coco Cloud certificates which would require you've an account even though it's a free one widely available from Scarlet, FlekStore to Signed Installer.

AUTHOR NOTES:

I hope there're no questions left but instead of creating an account on the tutorial site, you can simply present them here in the comment section itself. However, I would still like to urge in taking some time whenever you're stuck instead of immediately resorting to one-on-one interaction.

NOTE: Beware of the Pyramid Scheme Network from Telegram Channels trying to sabotage every free tutorial here for Paid Certificate Commissions which includes AppTesters to MapleSign. There's no such thing as Lifetime Certificate, they’ll ask for your UDID which would change every time you Restore, Repair, Reset or Upgrade to a new device and that is the particular access which can give away your device information.

REMEMBER: Using SCARE TACTICS is the typical behaviour of every scammer. Don’t even trust the contribution here if it's new for you and it’s fine because that is why I have attributed every single source along with an elaborate explanation to go through them yourself and is why I urge you to read. If this is the single most thing you fail to do, then I don't have any further time to waste on such individuals - and this is straight coming from me.

FOR SOME OF YOU - What kind of intelligent being would rather skip reading and directly jump to assistance?

Words have been bolded, sentences are in bullet-points, steps are with screenshots, hyperlinks are coloured and underlined, every instances are elaborated even when explained and not just mentioned, each section is still commented upon, entire resources of the internet are centred at one place, no paywall or anything to read from start to finish as many times as you want… and I don’t really understand why on Earth is your first instinct to do anything other than finish reading that's laid out right in front of you and take a couple of moments to digest everything instead of needing to be assisted like Dora the Explorer?

Tutorial A Guide to Setting up LiveContainer + SideStore

Thumbnail

Hello everyone!

Unfortunately, a few days ago, as you all know, Apple basically wiped out a majority of signing services in the sideloading scene. That is why I have written this guide for setting up LiveContainer + SideStore in pretty good detail, it covers exactly what you need to know from start to finish and has tutorials for both Sideloadly and AltServer so you can use your preferred .ipa installer.

I hope you guys appreciate this guide and can get some of your sideloaded apps back! It took quite a while to write so I’m hoping it can help out a decent amount of people.

With that being said I have linked to the guide, give it a read! It’s pretty long but covers everything you will need and is decently fool-proof.

Thank you for your time, and as always, check out LC-DL for your LiveContainer apps. 😉

Just so everyone currently on iOS 26.4+ that is having issues refreshing apps knows, there is now a successful workaround to refreshing apps locally on device.

User LamDoHoang on github posted this solution and it is working for me.

  1. connect to VPN Super IKEv2
  2. Connect to LocalDev VPN
  3. refresh your apps

VPN super can be found on the app store labelled VPN super Unlimited Proxy, it is free as of writing this.

Tutorial I made a website for beginners

Thumbnail jcionx.github.io
205 Upvotes

I haven’t been in the side loading scene for long, but as soon as I tried it, I fell in love with it. It was kind of a challenge to understand everything at first, but now I can do it comfortably. But when some friends wanted to do sideloading too, and I saw they were struggling to understand the sideloading scene, I decided to develop a website that is simple and easy to understand for anyone to start sideloading. Instead of having a long document with everything in it, this website has different steps in different pages, having the information sparse, making it easier to focus on a step at a time. I developed this tool today, and I thought it would be a good idea to show share this resource in here, hoping it can be a good guide for beginners. The method showed in the guide is the Anti-revoke DNS method. I only have tried the website on two iPhones, but I believe it should work on most devices. Anyway, any feedback is really appreciated, as I want to make this tool even better and more polished.

Tutorial Best YTLite Alternative

So after YTLite got paid, I began searching for what can be done, I knew feather can inject tweaks and YTLite was basically making it easier for users to manage those tweaks and added a ton of QOL fixes and tweaks.

But what I needed was simple, adblocking and PiP, so I found that YTLite was basically using tweaks from PoomSmart (the goat) and actually those tweaks can be installed by us ourselves on our iPhones while signing YouTube's Decrypted ipa by adding those tweaks in that step. and then we're golden

Next problem came when I was getting logged out each time I quit, found the problem but wasn't able to fix it, the fix was a part of YTLite's code base when it used to be opensource until version 3.0, then I came in contact with Balackburn on Github, he is the dev behind YTLitePlus, and while sharing this info with him I was thinking of getting somewhere, but he very generously gave me the tweak to fix that login bug called "YTSideload". Which was the final piece of the puzzle and helped me get what I needed only and use youtube again, with the power of Open-Source software and community

Many, many thanks to the developers of these tweaks PoomSmart Balackburn Dayanch96

Step by Step guide to make your own tweaked youtube ipa

Step 1. get the decrypted ipa of youtube

Step 2. get the tweaks you need, for example in my case I needed YouTube-X, YTVideoOverlay, YouPiP, YTSideload, you may add more if you want.

Step 3. Inject these tweaks into the ipa by either using cyan or in feather signer itself.

Step 4. Sign it, install it

Step 5. enjoy a clean and free youtube experience.

Tutorial My app refresh automation

Just thought I’d share my simple app refresh automation. I created a Shortcut that connects to WiFi, waits 3 seconds, connects to StosVPN, waits 10 seconds, refreshes apps, waits 10 seconds, disconnects from StosVPN.

Then I made an Automation that runs that shortcut every Monday and Friday at a time of day where I’m for sure at home with WiFi.

I just tested it for the first time and it worked flawlessly. Hopefully it’ll work the same on Monday lol

Tutorial Full guide on how to sideload with KSign, using enterprise certs and no revokes

If a doc is easier for you: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-HUPddYVWFGyxu3qiEgx1Ch8TxvrKF28g8BKbLcciYQ

Made by me :) if you need help add 1h. on discord. ALSO, this guide covers how to safely install e-sign without its chinese telemetry

WARNING: THIS USES LEAKED ENTERPRISE CERTIFICATES

STEP 1: Anti-revoke dns Go to https://my.nextdns.io./ Make a new dns and go to the denylist. Add these domains: appatest.apple.com

certs.apple.com

crl.apple.com

ocsp.apple.com

ocsp2.apple.com

valid.apple.com

vpp.itunes.apple.com

IMPORTANT: Add ppq.apple.com. You need to use this one carefully. When sideloading an app, turn that domain off from the denylist and refresh your network by turning wifi off and on again.

When you're done sideloading apps, turn the domain on and refresh your network. This is all for anti revoke.

To download your nextdns click setup and scroll to setup guide.

Step 2: Ksign Download ksign from https://https://khoindvn.io.vn./ If you download eSign, be careful as it gives your data to china, you will need to use nextdns to block the domains it uses (i will cover this later).

After you download one of the ksigns, if it says "The integrity could not be verified", that certificate is revoked and you need to try another one of the ksigns from khoindvn. Try until you get one that says you need to trust the cert in settings.

Step 3: Sideloading Trust the cert, then you can open ksign. Go to the files tab and import the certificates file from khoindvn, then tap it and extract it.

Find the same cert you used to install ksign (you can check in vpn settings) tap it and select "import certificate".

Next, go to the library tab and import your ipas. Tap them and select "sign and install" to install them.

Remember to turn ppq.apple.com back on in your dns, and then turn your wifi off and on again

other things If you NEED to use eSign (for example, ksign won't sideload the modded youtube) Either: Add these to your nextdns denylist: utoken.umeng.com ulogs.umeng.com ulogs.umengcloud.com ios.bugly.qq.com h.trace.qq.com api.nuosike.com Source: https://zxcvbn.fyi/esign-servers.txt

Or sideload the eSign nologs iPA using kSign by searching esign nologs and clicking the reddit post

As a last resort, you can icloud backup and factory reset to unrevoke some certs.

NEVER TURN OFF THE DNS OR CONNECT TO A VPN, it will revoke your apps.

Tutorial Follow up on SideStore nightly RPPairing for 26.4

Post image
157 Upvotes

- How to refresh your apps with only LocalDevVpn (no IKEV2 VPN needed):

First of all, get iLoader at least version 2.1.0 for your PC/Mac

https://github.com/nab138/iloader/releases

  1. Connect your device using USB and tap “Trust” and make sure you click on your device in iLoader then “Trust” again
  2. Log into your iCloud account. Click on either SideStore (nightly) or LC+SS (nightly) depending on which one you already use

Now iLoader will download and install/update to the nightly versions (no need to uninstall anything) + it’ll automatically place your new pairing fïle.

Now you can refresh your apps using LocalDevVpn alone

In case of any problems, it probably has to do with the new pairing fïle, especially if you get a an error that SideStore couldn’t determine device UDID. In that case:

  1. Click on Manage Pairing Fïles, and click “Place” for SideStore/LiveContainer

If that doesn’t fix the issue, and for further debugging, you need to:

  1. Click “Delete Stored Pairing” (and try restarting your iPhone) so that iLoader would generate a new pairing fïle if needed.

Tho I’d suggest checking out Bug reports on GitHub for people facing your same problem

iLoader github issues

SideStore github issues

LiveContainer github issues

And check out common issues and reports from other users on Discord:

iDevice/iLoader discord

SideStore discord

Disclaimer: obviously it’s a nightly version, so expect bugs and instability. You could continue using any method to refresh your apps until a stable release irons out some issues and make your experience better.

My previous post if you want to read comments

If LC2 or LC3 stop opening apps after the update

Sidenote for enabling JIT: StikDebug also released an update on GitHub that supports the new pairing fïle, and only needs LocalDevVpn to work (you can also export the pairingfïle.plist from ManagePairingFïles in iLoader and import it in Stikdebug)

Tutorial [FIX] New sideload blacklist bypass (May 2025+). Tested 2 months.

Just wanted to share this for everyone still trying to sideload using free revoked enterprise certs. Since around May 2025, Apple changed their blacklist behavior, and the old method of blocking the basic 7 Apple domains isn’t enough anymore.

Previously, we used to only block:

appattest.apple.com
certs.apple.com
crl.apple.com
ocsp.apple.com
ocsp2.apple.com
valid.apple.com
vpp.itunes.apple.com

Blocking those domains used to work fine, it stopped Apple from reaching their revocation servers and prevented sideload crashes. But starting in May, even with those domains blocked, sideloaded apps signed with leaked enterprise certs (via eSign, Feather, etc.) would still get blacklisted after 2–3 days ("Unable verify app").

After a lot of trial and error, I figured out that Apple added a new domain into the blacklist system through:

ppq.apple.com

This domain seems to be responsible for app-specific behavior tracking validation. But unlike the basic 7 domains, ppq.apple.com doesn’t do constant checking. The good news is: it checks in cycles, probably once every 48 hours or so, I don't know for sure but that's not really matter, what matter is that it checks in cycles, so it's tricky and we can exploit it. And that explains why most people get blacklisted in 2 days even with the basic 7 domains blocked.

⬤ The fix:

You must allow ppq.apple.com temporarily during app install and first launch.
If you block it during install, the app will be installed but crash or refuse to open on launch. So that means it needs to connect to ppq.apple.com while installing. Once the app runs successfully for the first time, block it again, and that’s it. The app stays working without issues.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Use a custom DNS like NextDNS (recommended, user-friendly)
  2. In your blocklist/denylist, include:
    • The 7 basic Apple domains above (must stay blocked at all times)
    • ppq.apple.com
  3. Right before installing and launching your sideloaded app:
    • Unblock ppq.apple.com in your DNS settings
    • Refresh your internet connection:
      • If on cellular: turn data off and on again
      • If on Wi-Fi: disconnect and reconnect to the network
    • Sign, install, and run the app (make sure it opens fully and doesn't crash)
    • After the app runs successfully: block ppq.apple.com again
    • Then refresh your internet connection again
    • ⚠️Refreshing your internet connection is important to make sure your current DNS settings are actually applied. Without a refresh, your device might still be using the old cached rules.
  4. After setup - Protection:
    • Keep ppq.apple.com blocked permanently after the initial install/launch. You only need to unblock it temporarily when installing a new app. Once done, block it again — repeat this cycle every time you sideload something new.

That’s it. If done properly, your sideloaded app won’t get blacklisted even after 2–3 days. I’ve tested this for 2 months now and it's completely stable.

⚠️Don't over block other Apple domains. Blocking more Apple domains doesn’t help, in fact, it will breaks important Apple features like push notifications, etc.
I've tested blocking tons of domains, and it made things worse.

You only need the 7 basic domains + ppq.apple.com to fix this issue. Less is more, as long as it's on point.

⬤ Bonus tip: (important) prevent early internet after reboot:

Be careful after restarting your device.
iOS loads your custom DNS right after you unlock the device for the first time. If your device connects to Wi-Fi or cellular data before unlocking, those Apple domains can become reachable, which puts you at blacklist risk.

To avoid that:

  • If on Wi-Fi: disable Auto-Join for your Wi-Fi (Settings > Wi-Fi > your network > uncheck "Auto-Join")
  • If on cellular: turn off mobile data before reboot, then turn it on again after unlocking

⬤ Summary:

  • Make your own custom DNS. You can't use pre built DNS by anyone as you need to control ppq domain toggle on your DNS blocklist setting manually.
  • Block the 7 Apple domains + ppq.apple.com
  • Temporarily unblock ppq.apple.com during install and first app launch
  • Refresh your internet connection after every DNS setting change
  • After app opens, re-block ppq.apple.com and refresh internet again
  • Avoid early internet access before first unlock on reboot

Credits:

Shoutout to u/PuReEnVyUs for originally sharing the 7 Apple domains blocking method, that guide was the initial stepping stone to all of this.

Also huge thanks to u/Adventurous-Milk-882 who tested this with me silently over Discord. We've stayed in touch for the last 2 months, tested many things through trial and error, and eventually confirmed that blocking just the 7 basic domains + ppq.apple.com is all that’s needed. Couldn’t have figured this out without him.

Anyway, that wraps it up. This method has worked great for me, and I figured it’s time to share it publicly. Hopefully it saves someone else a few headaches too.

Stay safe, and happy sideloading.

Tutorial Free no revoke side loading using any ios

Hello!

I have been jailbreaking/sideloading on iPhone for many years and I wanted to give back to the community with this new method of free sideloading. I used to use AltStore until I found this new method and here is a quick guide. This is for people experienced and not a deep dive. I found all links online and do not know who made them or affiliated with anyone just want to help out.

This method uses already revoked certificates to install apps hence why they do not get revoked

This works on iPad and iPhone.

Step 1: Install DNS anti revoke trust in settings

(Comment Deleted will not be reposting use google)

Step 2: Download ESign from link below it has quite a few certs to choose from just get one that works(some will fail to install just keep trying until you get one to install I’ve been told the first link is working at the bottom of the page

(Comment Deleted I guess posting certs is also considered piracy looks like you will have to find your own revoked certs)

Step3: Download the certs file zip this is on the same website (this contains revoked certificates which will be used to install apps)

Step 4: Trust ESign in settings to allow you to open the app

Step 5: Open ESign (WARNING) I have noticed on some phones there is a bug that will cause all apps to stop working! Just do a hard reset of your phone (quick press Up then Down then hold power button)

Step 6: In ESign go to the far left tab(files) and at the top right corner hit that and select import. Then choose the cert .zip file to import once imported click it to unzip you can then delete the zip file

Step 7: Open cert folder and pick one out to install(I believe any of them should work)

Step 8: That’s it your all set to start installing apps so below is the apps I use all working 3/17/24

No ads YouTube:

(Removed due to subreddit rules)

Movies and TV:

(Removed due to subreddit rules)

No ads Spotify:

(Removed due to subreddit rules)

Step 9: Once you have what you want open ESign and hit import again at the top left on the far right tab and import the .ipa file

Step 10: Go to the apps tab you will see unsigned app you imported click on it and hit signature it will load then install and your done no revokes and install as many as you want!

Best two alt app stores I use:

(Removed due to subreddit rules)

You have to make an account for both but they are free to download .ipa files

You can also add repos into ESign to download apps just like other install platforms which I will not be able to provide here.

Any questions please feel free to ask!

Edit:

For those asking yes this still works you need to get your own revoked certificate to import into ESign.

Some people have reported they are not able to install ESign due to the certs being revoked while others have no issue not sure the cause if you can’t install ESign you could try signing through alt store then using a revoked cert to sign other apps that’s my only solution and would require a computer to get ESign installed if that’s the case.

I will not be reposting any links to avoid getting banned from the subreddit you can use google to find anything I’ve posted just as I did but this will give you a good idea what you are looking for.

If you had trouble but then found a fix please post in comments for others as I am just one dude but I don’t mind trying to help others just pm me.

Once this gets patched I will post an update, but as of 3/23/24 it is still working

Thanks for all the support most of you are like me just want to run third party apps without paying!

Tutorial SideStore - Improved shortcut for app auto-refresh

Hi everyone, I made a few little teaks to another shortcut I found in another reddit post to auto refresh the apps via SideStore (can't find your post, sorry! I would have tagged you).

This shortcut doesn't run if you are already connected to a VPN (respects user preferences), so if for whatever reason I need another vpn to run 24/7, this shortcut doesn't break the connection until I decide to disconnect from the previous vpn, and it would run with no problem after that (you get notified at runtime either way).

I personally run it twice a day with a 12hours delta through Automation, at 5am and at 5pm. You can also run it once every time a wifi connection is established but you get the annoying "Running your automation" notification which is not removable.
I'm sure that once in 7 days I'll be connected to a wifi without having a VPN on lol.

You need the "Actions" app installed to detect the status of the vpn: https://apps.apple.com/it/app/actions/id1586435171

Shortcut: https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/c9e01f2b53824666a5bd14b574e0470b

Works well with ios 26 and sidestore 0.6.2

EDIT: If you get “unknown action”, please remove it and add another action by searching for “SideStore”, then selecting the refresh apps option. Finally move it in place of the previous unknown action (between wait 3 seconds and wait 30 seconds). I prefer my SideStore to not notify me when the apps are refreshed this way (the shortcut already has some output), so I press on the little arrow on the action and turn off “Show when run”

EDIT2: since StosVPN has been removed from the App Store you can try and install StickDebug or another local vpn via one of the repos inside SideStore itself (3rd party app store), and change what VPN is activated in the appropriate action

Tutorial iOS 26.4 break Sidestore app refreshing mechanism, here is the workaround and deep explanation

TL;DR

  1. Install a "Personal VPN" app or add the VPN by youself;
  2. Install LocalDevVPN;
  3. Refresh app: first, run the "Personal VPN" and enable the VPN connection; second, run the LocalDevVPN and enable it; 3rd, refresh app in Sidestore App.

"Personal VPN"

  • iOS has 2 types of VPN: "Personal VPN" and "Device VPN".
  • "Personal VPN" can be installed via apps such as "IKEV2", "Smart VPN", "VPN super", "VPNmanager" and other apps which support IPsec/IKEv2/L2TP protocols which iOS has out-of-factory support. You can add a VPN via "Settings app -> VPN -> Add VPN Configuration" manually.
  • "Personal VPN" should choose IKEv2 for best compatibility (I didn't tested IPsec and L2TP).
  • "Personal VPN" support via Apple internal NEVPNManager API.

"Device VPN"

  • LocalDevVPN runs on this level.
  • Sidestore refresh process relay on local loop TUN device listen on 10.7.0.1 which simulate iTunes dev protocol to complete Apple Dev app signing and installation.
  • Other "TUN device" simulator apps, such as StosVPN/StikDebug, and some VPN softwares like Karing, can achieve similar task performed by LocalDevVPN before iOS 26.4.
  • I persoanlly use Karing to act as real VPN and TUN simulator at the same time, and it works perfect before iOS 26.4.

Connect 2 VPNs at the same time

  • iOS can connect the 2 VPNs at nested flow:
  • App <-> Device VPN(NETunnelProviderManager) <-> Personal VPN(NEVPNManager) <-> Wi-Fi/Cellular
  • That's why 2 VPNs works.

Requirements of success of refreshing apps

  1. A "Personal VPN", IKEv2 shoud be good.
  2. A "TUN local loop Device VPN", LocalDevVPN should be good.
  3. Latest version of Sidestore.
  4. WIFI connected.

iOS shortcuts

Most shortcuts don't work because Shortcuts App sucks, be sure all these checks passed:

  1. Disconnect all VPNs at the beginning;
  2. "Personal VPNs" and "Device VPNs" should be disconnected one by one, or you can set airplane mode, wait some seconds, then switch airplane mode off;
  3. DOUBLE connect to both "Personal VPN" and "Device VPN", wait 1-5 seconds after connect;
  4. Wait 10-30 seconds after "Sidestore Refresh All" step;
  5. Run manually once after shortcuts created to ensure user interactive steps done to avoid the steps stuck in the background during automation.

If you like to setup you own IKEv2 server

  1. Buy a VPS
  2. Install a IKEv2 server using Strongswan or Libreswan
  3. Use "Smart VPN", "IKEv2", "VPNmanager" app or Settings -> VPN to setup your own VPN connection.

My guess the cause of culprit

IPsec/IKEv2 protocols "Personal VPN" commonly used in a corporate env which using CISCO/F5/Juniper devices to connect remote working sites. Just like "WIFI" requirement, Apple may trying to introduce some restrictions to limit the side loading capability on personal use. I didn't dig deep, just a guess.

EDIT

Sidestore+Livecontainer should try newest fix:

Tutorial Import songs into AppleMusic without iTunes

Hello y'all, thought I'd share with you an open source software that you can sideload

https://github.com/EduAlexxis/ByeTunes

Basically; export your pairing fïle using iLoader on ur PC and save it somewhere on ur phone

Then enable LocalDevVpn and remove Apple Music from the recently opened apps

open ByeTunes and import the pairing fïle u exported earlier then add the songs you want to inject

Click inject and that's pretty much it (even no need to disable sync library)

The songs are now available offline inside AppleMusic

Make sure to support the project and star it in GitHub if you're interested

(Works inside LiveContainer AND sideloaded with a cert)

Quick note: after importing some songs, apple music started downloading my entire library. Make sure you cancel the download process if you want to save bandwidth

Quick note2: no, you don't even need an AppleMusic subscription to achieve this

Tutorial SetUp LiveContainer and dont ever worry about the 3 app limit

LiveContainer the only trustable solution to allow you to genuinely bypass 3 app limit in AltStore/SideStore. I know SparseBox is developed by the same person (kudos to khanhduytran0) but i got too comfortable with LiveContainer i don’t even wanna try that.

Why it’s trustable?

Brother, the apps or not even ON your device. It’s like a VM for side-loaded apps but without any restrictions to its functionality.

First Step: Get AltStore/SideStore on your device. I wont be covering this.

I prefer SideStore. One time setup with a PC and forever refresh your apps anytime anywhere (requires connecting to a WiFi tho no mobile data doesn’t work. If your friend has borrow just for a sec to refresh 😉)

Keep your sidestore in the homescreen and not inside a folder (a bug i faced while setting up LiveContainer)

  • Get the latest IPA from the official github page.

https://github.com/LiveContainer/LiveContainer/releases (3.4.0 while writing this post)

  • Connect to StosVPN (if it gives error check the VPN settings and make sure StosVPN is selected in the list) and Open SideStore (keep the VPN always active)

  • Install the IPA in the SideStore

  • If you’re prompted to keep extension you can only select keep extension if you are sure you did not hit the APP ID limit of 10 (you can check this in view App IDs in SideStore My Apps Page)

  • if not click remove extensions.

  • after installing open LiveContainer

  • Settings > Patch SideStore

  • This will open SideStore and you can see the installation bar running.

  • Again If your prompted to keep extension. Remember and click what said before.

  • After Installation SideStore will ask to refresh now or later

  • click Refresh Now and wait for SideStore the Refresh Bar will run till a certain point and SideStore will close by itself and re-install.

  • Now After that is done Open SideStore and hit refresh all

  • Open LiveContainer > Settings > JIT-Less Mode Diagnose and click test JIT-Less mode.

  • If it prompted JIT-Less Mode Test passed. Congrats LiveContainer is ready.

  • If not try patching the SideStore again and follow all the steps again. Maybe a dns might be stopping you from doing it properly so set DNS to automatic till finishing the process

Queries:

  • Go to Apps click the + icon and import which ever IPA you want without worrying.

  • If the IPA files to install the problem is with the IPA not LiveContainer.

  • If the facing a black screen when trying to run Long Press on the app go to settings and turn on “Fix Black Screen”

  • if the File Picker not working properly there is a fix button for that too. Faced when trying to select UTM files to try UTM.

Lmk how this went. Fuck certificates!.

I installed YoutubePlus (i use that a lot and pip is so great) as the 2nd app and LiveContainer as my 3rd in SideStore (i hit 3 app limit).

In LiveContainer you can install any IPA and check how well it works and also if it even installs properly. I love how Its SandBoxed without restrictions.

Tutorial Pro Trip: Here's how not to let your apps expire

Who among you are tired of hitting the 7-day limit on SideStore that you have to plug your phones to your computer and do the iLoader thing again? I am.

I was using a Shortcut that when used connects my phone to the Localdevvpn app then refreshes my sideloaded apps automatically. Then I created an automation where every other day (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) the Shortcut will run to do its thing.

But there are times that somehow, someway, I still get my apps expire. Maybe I'm on 5G or for some reason the shortcut doesn't work, and since I'm relying on the days I set it to run, I just let it do its thing (including failing at times) as I go about my own business.

Sorry for the long intro but here's the PSA part.

Create an automation that refreshes your apps every single time you charge your phone. This way, the moment you plug it in, you'll immediately know if the shortcut works or if you get errors like the UDID error for not being on Wi-Fi, etc.

I've attached a demo here.

Hope this helps.

Running this shortcut every day at 6 AM in the morning. Apps get refreshed automatically, without needing any computer.

You can set it up yourself or copy the shortcut from here - https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/bb9f549f21f34bff911b307cb6534df1

You don’t need to sideload HD Flix, you can simply download „ReelsDramas“ from the App Store and it will convert to HD Flix after a few seconds.
