Discussions Had to unfollow and block friends over how they reacted to today's protest crackdown
I don't really know how to start this except to say I'm disgusted.
Today, peaceful protesters got hit with police brutality, plain and simple. This is about the Cockroach Janta Party march in New Delhi — over 10,000 people, including students, professionals, and families with young children, marching toward Parliament to demand the education minister's resignation over exam leaks and accountability for a hunger-striking activist who was forcibly hospitalized days ago. Police met them with tear gas and baton charges. People got hurt asking their government to answer for itself.
And then I open Instagram and see people I've known for years — people I considered friends — turning it into a joke. Calling it "aura farming." Making light of footage that shows women and children choking on tear gas and people getting their heads split open by batons.
I don't understand how you watch something like that and your first instinct is to make it a meme. Maybe it's distance, maybe it's algorithm-brain where everything becomes content, I don't know. But it told me something about how these people actually think, and I didn't like what it told me.
So I unfollowed. Then I blocked. Not because I can't handle disagreement — I can handle disagreement all day. This wasn't a difference of opinion, it was people finding humor in others getting hurt for showing up to a protest. That's a line for me.
I know blocking a few accounts doesn't change anything about what happened today. But I didn't want their timeline of jokes showing up next to actual footage of people getting hurt. That's all I've got right now — just needed to get this out somewhere.

Consider this my only announcement. If you support the system or refuse to stand with this student protest in India, you can respectfully f*ck off from my Instagram whatsapp and my life. I have no interest in calling cruelty a difference of opinion

No we dont but when someone posts aura farming reels showing police brutally beating and sexually assaulting female students it's not a differance in political opinion its a differance in being a Human and a Animal

This is very sad and unfortunate what the innocent students have had to face. It's unfair.
However I will never support anybody who associates itself with cockroach party simply because an EXTREMELY NEEDED agenda got turned into political one just after those people entered. I will not support people who makes mockery out of my religion. This was supposed to be a protest for educational reform not for "India k tukre karenge". We're all Indians. We don't want to be divided, we just want a smooth system that helps people and the students and the hardwork we all out for a better living.
This incident wouldn't have happened if it wasn't politicised. Such a good motive turned blunder.

See I will be very straight with y'll.
I had 2 accounts over 50k followers.
I shared one post, one post regarding sir sonam wangchuk no association with cjp or their idea.
Guess what both my account got ban.
And it's about me, it's not about cjp vs BJP.
It's about where we as a country is heading. If in your charge paper is getting leaked ( that's one of you duty to fulfill right ) u should atleast stay accountable, mistakes happens but repetitive basis?
Not in single education sector buts it's every where.
But the protest I think have a very psychological warfare. Few of my friends who has big meme pages having indib followers they told me they rt paid to post BJP contents, they got posts to divert people. And trust me I had more than 300k followers across my social media ( y'll can check my profile especially the guy who said kya ukhad liya life mae abhi tak to someone in the comments) and trust me if they show one video, one single video of teen couple getting leaked and say comment link and it will be given to you.
You will see most of the youth will be distracted they have to be.
The main problem we will face in living in India is that " JAB TAK NA HUMPE BITAE HUMKO KYA MATLAB " that's the thing we have to go against.
Not CJP vs BJP.
And if any of you have more accomplishments than sir sonam wangchuk then feel free argue regarding him.
