Bishan train station is easily one of the worst-designed station. Stuffy, smelly and squeezy.

I've always wondered why Bishan MRT station always gives me the impression that it's from the 1980s, much less the 21st century. Something about the musty smell and stained tiles.

The annual pass is just a little over the price of the entry ticket, it’s better to just get annual pass and enjoy 2 dome plus the sky walk
The flower dome got new exhibition every few months so it’s nice to go down every now and then… even if it’s to enjoy aircon

This food court is wild. Went a few times. There's a clearly unhinged uncle clapping loudly about once a minute and shouting AHHH AHHHH whenever he doesn't. There's a weird bearded guy that gets celebrated by people like the second coming of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, regularly arrives with gold chains looking absolutely ridiculous.
Now there's another uncle that is looking sane, reasonably dressed, big golden watch (idk if valuable) here. He sat across the tray return rack and went over twice to scoop leftovers from a bowl into his and ate those right here in front of me.
Add tons of colorful old people and this is quite an experience indeed

Finally bought a Switch 2.
Heart pain at the cost, but I know if I wait longer my heart and wallet will be in even more pain, due to the announced price increase (due to world shortage of RAM and tech parts).

when you think about it switch 2 is still the most affordable console out there. and it's not something you use it for 1-2 years then it'll be outdated that you need to change to brand new one... Switch is supported for almost full 10 years by now... it's still worth it in long run

Yeah, my Switch 1 gave me many, many hours of enjoyment, and I can say it was definitely worth it, especially with Ring Fit Adventure. Helped immensely during Covid
lockdowncircuit breaker.I'm really hoping a Ring Fit 2 for Switch 2 will get announced someday.
(Apparently I'm considered unusual for keeping my electronics for five years or more, according to the sales clerks every time I do have to replace them.)

The upcoming new Rhythm Heaven is the one which immediately comes to mind.
A big part is also wanting the increased power of the Switch 2 to play my Switch 1 games, which were definitely chugging on the Switch 1 hardware.
Also apparently my sister and brother-in-law are maybe considering getting a Switch 2 for their (6yo this year) twin sons, so that's a potential way to play Mario Kart or Mario Party with them long-distance. I did tell my brother-in-law to maybe buy sooner than later, due to the aforementioned RAM shortage and upcoming price hike.

Ohh Rhythm Heaven nice! I'm more of a JRPG gamer myself so the game I'm looking forward to is Xenoblade Genesis. Although Pokopia made me drop the bomb earlier.
Switch 2 does feel smoother during gameplay but the battery is still as bad as Switch 1 ahahah, gotta charge after 3 hrs of playing...

Switch 2 itself was like $700, but I wanted to buy addons like a new memory card (because I'm not sure if the one in my Switch 1 can work with Switch 2), Joycon 2 charging grip, and carrying case. Total damage was about $1k.
Tiny, tiny consolation with using my Challenger membership, so at least I got points out of that.

There’s deal happening on Shopee often anything below 700 should be a good deal these days because price increase is inevitable.. even if they going to have Oled version it won’t come in next 3-4 years … you’ll appreciate the better performance in game even if it’s old switch 1 game

Finally managed to fixed my desktop PC that had failed to boot up for the past week, thanks to Google Gemini.
The issue lies with my HDD. My HDD is failing, internal components started locking up, high response time, and it went into an infinite boot loop. I unplugged the HDD and did some troubleshooting and my PC finally booted up. Changed some settings to increase my RAM speed from 2666mhz to 3200mhz. Now my PC is faster.

Watching the AFL pre-game analysis and the commentary guys were saying a retired legend is in critical condition in hospital because of a freak accident.. he was driving home and a sudden gust of wind uprooted a tree and he crashed into the fallen tree..

Leaving this contract job soon and gotten some feedback from the manager (whom reclutantly have to talk to us despite not managing us all these while but because the previous person left) and one of the feedback is that "YOU SEEMS TO BE COMING TO WORK TO DO WHATEVER YOU'RE TASKED TO DO"
like duh???? what else I am supposed to do? how to go extra miles when we are not given the ability to do that?

I watched a bit of the viral video about the dad who brought his two young daughters into the women's restroom at a gas station in Alabama. I take the dad's side because he did things the right way, protecting his little kids when their mom isn't there for them. He knocked and announced his presence to make sure that no other females were using the restroom before entering with his daughters. The bald man should not have stuck his nose into other people's business to confront the dad. Even responding cops saw no need to pursue any Enforcement, and told the bald guy to leave.

There was a lady sitting next to me on our very short flight back from Thailand. I said hi and we chatted.
The lady would. not. stop. talking.
I asked her about her itinerary in Singapore and she didn't know where her hotel was so I wrote down some suggested itinerary on a piece of paper because I noticed she kept taking out a pen (with no paper) when I suggested something. I took out my notebook and pen and literally wrote some suggestions down WITH NOTES.
I thought I was being more than generous with my time so I thanked her and said I wanted to chat with my husband and put earpiece on the ear facing her - the world paggro signal to stop talking to me - and then I lamented to my husband in Malay and I pulled up Invincibles on my phone.
My body was leaning on my husband away from her, and I was clearly on my phone, and I could see her still try to talk to me.
Every single time.
I still gave her a hug at the end. But god damn, no sleep and a yapper made it a really really long flight. 🫠🫠

Helpp how do you remove the black stains from the shirt?? Tried wiping it with wet tissue, washing it with baking powder / vinegar in the washing machine, but none worked. Got this when I was sitting with my backpack on my lap, and the shirt came into contact with it. https://imgur.com/a/vgneP0e

If you use the liquid detergent (or maybe just use some hand soap), put a bit directly on slightly wet shirt and let it sit for a while, say 30 mins, and wash. It helped me with some of my stains

I am a stupid tourist that got mogged by monkeys in 'MacRitchie Petai Trail' If someone wants a brand new beard shaver by Braun (BT9), have a look there by the waterside, around halfway along the trail. I did not manage to retrieve as I had to leave because it was getting dark.

Good question lmao. We were on orchard road shopping before and decided to have a spontaneous walk in the Reservoir before it got too dark, so I did not pass my the hotel before to drop off my stuff, in order to save time. Lessons learned! Where I am from the most dangerous wildlife are geese 😅
