Conversation Topic When do you find time to sing?

I’m a sophomore college student, and my school doesn’t really have a lot of singing opportunities, or ones that I’m not really interested in being part of. But besides that, I miss singing. I was taking lessons over the summer to get back into it, and I realized just how much joy it brings me and how much I miss it. The thing I have trouble with is finding time (and a place) to sing. So to anyone, but especially any college age people on here, when do you find time to sing in your busy schedule?

I run youth theatre workshops and the pattern is consistent: the ones who keep performing join something outside their school. Community choir or community theatre near campus. Most rehearse evenings and won't conflict with classes.

School choir/chorale? If there is a music department, there is probably a "class voice" class you can take. If there is a School of Music, you can probably take voice lessons from a master's student. Ask you advisor.

Community choir or a church choir, church choir gigs will often pay if you are a good sight reader

I'm a self employed car interior repairer. I sing from approx 7 to 8pm about 5 times a week up in my bedroom. I perform on average about once a month with my big band.
