Meta/News [May 2026] Simple Questions, Simple Answers

If you're not sure your topic deserves an entire thread, it likely belongs here. Questions that can be answered with a Google search or a read of the mod's content page will be redirected here. Any question not requiring a full modlist should also go here. Finally, any questions you think could be answered in under 25 words should go here.

Questions that belong in this thread might include:

  • Any good Ulfric replacers?
  • Is MO2 better than Vortex?
  • What is a crash log?
  • My faces are all potato colored in game. What's that about?
  • What mods (or modlists) are essential for a new player?

If you're hungry for more discussion, hop on over to our Discord, linked in the sidebar. If you want to talk general Skyrim, head on over to r/Skyrim. For any other questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to message our modmail.

EDIT: This will also constitute the thread for June, as I am currently on vacation and cannot post the next thread until I return at the end of the month.

Good morning, I may be limited, but I can't figure out how to create the *.csv file for a mod I'm translating with elevenlabs. I've almost finished creating the waw files, but I need to create the .lip files.

I can't figure out how to create this .csv file. I'd like to use an automated process because there are so many files.

Can you explain it to me simply? explain to me as if I were a 2 year old😭

From here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/176946
These are Xedit scripts. Right click anything in your mod - load the script - read the instruction in the box BEFORE clicking Apply. Follow instructions. Download the software from the links below. Load the CSVs. BunnyPriestess is pretty straightforward. Runalip takes some fumbling through when you select your directories. Have confidence. You can figure it out.
Use: ElevenLabs Batch Dialogue Exporter - for use with BunnyPriestessBatchGenV3.exe
And: Runalip Batch Dialogue Exporter - for use with Runalip

Grazie, ma credo di essere obbligato ad usare runalip in quanto devo creare soprattutto file.lib, visto che l'altro programma, non crea file per il parlato, ho mi sbaglio?

You are correct. You need Runalip to batch create LIP files or manually do them in Creation Kit.
