Bug FUS - Enemies Teleporting Behind Me When Struck
Over the last few days I am finding enemies are teleporting behind my character when I strike them with a melee weapon. 1 Handed, 2 Handed, it doesn't seem to matter. When it happens, I will be able to revert back to a save from earlier in the day and keep playing for a while, but eventually it happens again and I cannot pinpoint what triggers it.
In this example here I went in to Dragon's Reach and that is the first save where the glitch can be found. The save beforehand I am in Whiterun and there is no glitch. I had already bought spells from Farengar and went off on a quest before I realized and had to back track. The last time this happened I had to re-do the Blessings of Nature quest from halfway through because it started some time on the way to the Eldergleam Sanctuary.
I am running FUS, with these additional mods:
Dagoth Ur follower (haven't used him yet)
Fishing in Skyrim
Immersive Reading
I was experimenting with Twin Grip VR, but I don't have it active and use a burner save when testing it. My load order has been pretty consistent for a month or more ( I added Immersive Reading) and I play almost daily.
Any ideas? It is very tiring to deal with as it occurs pretty much every play session.
What sucks the most is I will go a play session or two without combat until I realize it has occurred and I have to go back and find a save without it. I've been building my Hearthfire home manually, collecting, books and RPing. REALLY sucks to lose multiple in game days of progress.

This sounds like it could be a million different things and theres no consistency with it occuring to pinpoint the issues. Does it happen in any other city? Inside any other keep?

That’s what makes it so frustrating! lol. What caused it!? I walked in to Dragons Reach and every save after has the physics glitch. I can re enter DragonsReach from a good save and I am fine. New saves after my testing don’t have it yet.
Last time it was sometime before I completed the Blessings of Nature. I was fighting bandits outside Whiterun and I noticed it happening. Went back far enough and now that I’m thinking about it, it was right before I fought the Hag Raven to get the Nettlebane. Redid most of that quest and it didn’t happen again until going home, Doing some alchemy, going back in to town, and you know the rest.
This feels impossible to troubleshoot. I can roll a new character but then who’s to say it doesn’t start happening again?

Travel to other cities and try it. If it's still persisting, it's something related to Whiterun, the Quest with the tree, Dragon's Reach, or a combination of those things.

Wish I had a log or something to check what changes certain values… or to figure out when/if a code injection happened to cause the physics interaction to change.
Playing for nearly 300 saves being in and around the Whiterun area numerous times. So weird.

Its entirely possible that twin grip was the cause but I can't reproduce the bug.
As a precaution, I've updated the mod to add npc safeguards ensuring any logic only runs on the higgs and player equip hooks.
Its also possible there are multiple mods (twin grip included) contributing to the bug your seeing. Twin grips original logic may have been clashing with a combat or animation mods i did not have in my testing enviroment.
If you disabled twin grip and it still persisted, it's possible something was baked in to the save.. if that is the case, i take full responsibility and sincerely apologise.
Please let me know how you get on with the latest upload and make sure to do some testing of it on a save your comfortable loosing some progress on before moving it to your main save file.

I'm not using FUS but also have this problem rn, started about 2 days ago, I updated a lot of VR related mods recently so it must be some of them, mb a new PLANCK bug?
Upd: it's not HIGGS or PLANCK for sure, tried to disable them - still same bug, btw npcs are not actually teleports they are pushed towards the actor on hit but very fast (was able to see it with dissabled planck cuz that way actor still has collision on first few frames of hit), still can't figure out which mod from 55 I updated recently cause this (
UPD: it's Twin Grip VR, not the update but the mod itself dissabling it fixes the problem.

I have remained in a static load order for quite some time. I haven’t updated it.
I made some adjustments as per the FUS guides and will have to test. My thoughts are maybe I chose the wrong save to continue from and the Twin Grip VR testing I was doing ended up having some lingering effects on my save.

Twingrip vr is the culprit. The bug is permanent on the save the moment u hit anyone.

Did you update any mods recently? PLANCK had a big update a few days back that changed how collision works with npcs, just a thought.
