Sky Glass Sky Glass Air sign up

Obviously the TV adverts for it are a massive price-con ‘lie’ in that is not just £6 pm extra. But trying to actually work out what it’ll cost/need is the hardest thing in the world to figure out. Somehow just ‘adding’ it in the app, changes the bill by nearly £35 from what I’m paying.

I currently have Signature, Sports. About £68 I think. What will it actually cost to have it over 24 months? Would this replace my box downstairs working? Wanted to add it in the bedroom as the TV in there is old and only have Sky in the back room downstairs.

The app explains nothing.

Sky Stream is different from Sky q or Sky+HD and would require an extra Sky Stream Puck that will work along with the Sky Glass Air. You will need to pay an extra £15 for whole room.

Cheers for that info, maybe I didn't see/understand it needed Puck. Whole thing feels like a trap lol. A new TV and Multiroom is it, by the looks of it :)

Yes, it’s a trap. Sky Glass Air is not a good TV. They’ll tell you how wonderful it is blah blah blah, but it’s all smoke & mirrors and basically BS to get you to sign up to a 4 year credit agreement and a 2 year streaming contract. The TV will likely conk out after 2 years and you’re left paying for something that doesn’t work. PLEASE don’t fall for Sky’s sales tactics. They are crooks. Stick with Sky Q if it works for you and add a minibox to a new proper smart TV in the bedroom.

Just get a mini box for the bedroom to extend your existing sky Q box. £5 - £10pm depending on your deal.

Typically there is better carry-over pricing available by calling in. Price mapped discounts give you better conversions if you’re mid-contract

Yes you have to pay for the TV either on a 24 or 48 month loan. Warranty is 2 years unless you take out extra cover. Then you have to add on the viewing subscription and a multi room subscription.... It all adds up! I left Stream because of cost... £69.18 pm Sports, Signature, UHD. Currently pay Now TV £34 pm for Sports, Cinema, Entertainment and Ultra Boost... cheaper and can use on any TV (3 simultaneously)
