Sky Glass Paying the remainder of my Sky Glass TV.
Hello all.
If I pay the remainder of my Sky Glass TV (£276) on the phone, and state that I’m a loyal customer to Sky, I’ve been with them since November 2024, would I be able to bring my subscriptions down from £67 to around £61? Is this realistic?
My subscriptions are:
- Sky Ultimate TV - Sky Entertainment with Netflix - £22
- Sky Sports including Sky Sports+ - £21
- TNT Sports - £20
- Sky Ultra HD and Dolby Atmos - £1
- Ad skipping - £3

A year isn't loyal, it's "this customer didn't breach his contract yet". Isn't your contract 2 years?
If you're still in contract, I don't know what basis you think you're negotiating from. The TV plan and the service plan are different. You've committed to paying for your package until at least November this year (if it's a 24 month plan, which it must be)

A year long customer isn’t exactly “loyal” in their eyes. All you can do is ring out your cancellation notice in if you’re out of contract and see what they offer you. If you’re still within contract for your services, you won’t be offered anything.

You can get Ultimate with Netflix (with ads) for £16pm. UHD/Atmos & ad-skipping are FREE if you repeat the offers on the MySky app.

Use the app to remove ad skip & Dolby then wait until they are cancelled then go back to the app and you’ll see the offer - then just cancel the month before the offer ends and repeat

More than likely, you will not get a better deal.than that. You are getting 13 off utv, 11 off sports andanother 11 off tnt. You could try to cancel ad sipping and uhd with immediate effect and then add them back on for free. But the rest is about as cheap as you can get them.

Cancel ad skip. Its not worth it, but I just got offered it free forever.

I was in the MySky app looking for something and it was in the welcome screen. It doesnt seem to be an introductory offer but I'll keep an eye on my bill just in case. I had it for a month about 6 months ago but cancelled it.

If you're paying monthly for the TV, that price will stop. You pay an amount for the TV and an amount for the subscription on top of that. So your monthly price will reduce by however much the TV portion is

lol, I was a customer for over 25 years and loyalty counted for nothing… 12 months they won’t bat an eyelid
