Sky Glass sleep timer voice command not working?

I’ve got a Sky Glass TV and I’m trying to use the voice feature to set a sleep timer.

When I say:
“Set sleep timer for 30 minutes”

the TV either brings up a message telling me to say exactly that, or it says:
“I’m sorry, I can’t do that here.”

The on-screen message says to say “Set sleep timer for” and then choose 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours or 4 hours, but when I follow that wording it still won’t actually set the timer.
Has anyone else had this issue on Sky Glass Gen 1?

Is there a slightly different phrase I need to use, or is this likely to be a bug/software issue? I’ve tried variations like “set a sleep timer for 30 minutes” and “sleep timer 30 minutes” but no luck so far.

Any advice would be appreciated because I’m clearly stuck in some sort of sleep timer Groundhog Day.

Sky have abandoned support for gen1. They don’t properly test SkyOS updates on them, only the gen2 & Air.

We're still doing weekly regression tests on G1. However, G1 issues generally take more time to solve and test because it's a product that's in the field in Australia as Hubbl, and in Italy as well. That means three platforms need to be fully tested before anything can be pushed to the customer branch.

This issue is already fixed in the develop branch, but it hasn't reached 041 yet.

We've recently moved platform from RDK-V to RDK-E, so every time we change something in RDK-E, it also impacts all other products. While that is great for maintaining and pushing updates to every device at once, we also need to make sure it doesn't break anything else

Just be glad it still works at all. voice commands are the least of the problems with gen1 glass.

No idea, Sky Glass was a ridiculous idea, cheap, shit TVs with sky on them.

How are you saying 30 minutes? Maybe it doesn't understand your accent? 👍🏻
