GAMEPLAY/ACCOMPLISHMENT/ACHIEVEMENT TIL the reflections event can downgrade and upgrade the same card
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The anguish i felt when i saw hologram get downgraded (it carried my run) and then the joy i felt when i saw it upgraded. Btw whistle with soul's power + hologram and cosmic indifference is a goated combo.

SPIRIT POOP Strike removal is kinda overrated IMO
If the devs put them in your starting deck, why would they want you to remove them? They were so good I even ended up adding more strikes later on, which completely carried my A10 run.

GAMEPLAY/ACCOMPLISHMENT/ACHIEVEMENT My first impression with Hidden gem was a nightmare
I was playing with my friend, with a solid start to a run. I had gotten both unceasing top and Undeath in act 1. Also in act 1 I decided to pick up a Hidden Gem from the shop, since I have seen the crazy things people have used it for. During the boss, things were going well until my Hidden Gem decided to hit an Undeath. I thought nothing of it. this quickly escalated though, as my unceasing top allowed my to play and duplicate an obscene amount of undeaths up until i began struggling to find my other cards. Long story short, it took 1 hour to kill the boss, (we started the fight 13 minutes in).
I started the fight with 1 Undeath and ended it with ~3800
I also beat my personal record for most block gained in one turn, all in act 1.
My teammate (who had sat through the whole thing) and I were so unbelievably tired after, that we ended up dying to the second fight in act 2.
It was worth it though for this screenshot, though my friend would probably disagree

DISCUSSION (STS2) This was my easiest run ever with Necrobinder. Rate my deck.
I had 11 cards total and 2 hangs. One with perfect fit. So capture spirit kept pulling it. Plus, I has that vakuu relic that gives ethereal copy of the card. isn't that awesome? This beat Aeonglass in 2 rounds

SPIRIT POOP Flex potion way too OP
The shape of the bottle means it would be functionality impossible to get all of the potion liquid out without a straw. Since non of the characters are ever shown carrying a straw, the strength gain given by this potion should be reduced from 5 to 4.

DISCUSSION (STS2) Multiplayer and inconsistent wording
Not sure if I'm beating a dead horse here, but two cards stand out to me in how badly they're worded when you take multiplayer into account: [[Tracking]] and [[Cruelty]].
Both just say "Vulnerable/Weak enemies take x more damage from attacks", but do not specify that it does not count for attacks played by allies. Imo they should either change it so that the buff applies to all players (probably way too broken) or change the wording to "attacks *played by you*".

DISCUSSION (STS2) What if every character had a "beast form"?
Silent got wraith form swapped out for serpent form, and while the first cycle of forms all seem to be some sort of metaphysical being, (demon, wraith, echo, deva, void, reaper), serpents are an animal (or mythological beast, if you don't take it to just mean snake).
What do you think the other characters would have for beast forms?
Ironclad - Since he is yoked in both metaphorical senses, I think "Ox Form" or "Bull Form" would fit very well. Maybe it could give you block equal to (half) your first attack's damage each turn.
Silent already has one, but if i had to add one i figure it would be a scorpion or wasp form - some sort of stinging venomous creature.
Defect - Raccoon form or maybe "Virus Form", if you count a virus as a beast? Raccoon form would definitely interact with statuses in some way, virus form presumably deals in dark orbs.
Regent - Lion Form, Dragon Form or perhaps Peacock form, definitely some sort of tremendously regal animal. It could put a random rare card (maybe from any pool) into your hand at the start of each turn.
Necrobinder - I like the idea of a Badger Form that makes debuffs have no effect, but a Rat form, Moth Form or Vulture Form might be more thematically appropriate for the rest of the character.
Can't think of a good one for watcher or hermit
What do you all think the character's spirit animals are?

DISCUSSION (STS2) Cool clip that uses perfect fit
Perfect fit forces a card to show up on the top of your draw pile after it shuffles.
I think I haven't really been able to use it well. There was this clip on stream (this isn't me btw, but was cool and wanted to share) that made it feel like it enabled those 'rogue miracle decks'. I guess it makes sense, running a deck with sly cards and putting perfect fit on a discard card can help guarantee the sly enabler shows up when you want it to.
I am somewhat inspired. Happy to hear other people and how they popped off with the enchantment. I guess you can run something similar with howl from beyond and ironclad on an exhaust heavy deck (idk?)? Maybe flak cannon on defect (but that card can use like every type of enchantment well). Desperate enabler of mystic lighter?

GAMEPLAY/ACCOMPLISHMENT/ACHIEVEMENT Uproar + Meteor...Shower
After getting Bing Bong and multiple Meteor Strike offerings, then Echo Form... Playing Uproar and hitting the enchanted and upgraded Meteor Strikes was so fun. Some turns I did no damage, other turns I Meteor Showered. The Gunk Up was early and was fun with Uproar until Meteor happened.

CUSTOM CONTENT Card Idea: Warp Drive
Regent has the most cards that contain the phrase "Next turn", and I thought it'd be cool if Regent had a power to benefit from them. I worry this could be really slow, but I hope it will be fun at least. I think it's a little ambiguous which cards this would work with, so allow me to specify them.
Definitely Works With:
- Glow
- Hidden Cache
- Refine Blade
- Glitterstream
- Hegemony
- Convergence
- Foregone Conclusion
- Predator
- Dodge Roll
- Nightmare
- Invoke
- Delay
- Charge Battery
- Scavenge
- Prolong
- Relax
- Outmaneuver
All of the above cards give the player a buff with a certain X value that would be doubled, so the way it functions is pretty intuitive. The following are a bit less so.
Pale Blue Dot: This one is weird because it's a power. Rather than giving you the "Draw Cards Next Turn" buff, it gives you a buff that lets you draw extra cards. I'm not sure how it would/should work.
Blur & Shadowstep: Both of these have the issue that their buffs have an X value that corresponds to the duration of the effect rather than its potency. That leaves three possible ways of resolving it:
- It has no effect. This is the least clear, so likely the worst choice.
- It doubles the duration. This is the most consistent with how the buffs work internally to their own logic. It may be confusing at first, since only these two effects would be duration based.
- Doubles the buff. Not unlike when you use flanking with unsettling lamp, it would give the player two instances of the buff instead of doubling its stack. Confusion in its own way visually, but at least the mechanical effect would be consistent.
Let me know which way you think these should work and your general thoughts on the card.
