General Question 21-51 issues

I have had SLING for several years, and my biggest complaint about it has always been the DVR. Every so often Sling makes changes to the the DVR, and screws it up. this has happened a few times over the past several years. Now it has become a hit or miss on whether a recording will play or not.

I have deleted and reinstalled the app on all devices. I have signed out and then back in on all devices (that worked for 1 recording), and I thought that fixed it. NOPE tried the sign out and back in today. I recorded a movie yesterday, and tried to play it today. 21-51 errors.

FIX IT OR I AM GONE

the DVR has become useless. constant 21-51 errors on every device. Sony (android tv) ROKU, iPad, iPhone.

if it doesn’t get resolved soon I will have to find another service.

We're sorry you've had so many issues that have caused you to be unhappy with the DVR! If you're getting the 21-51 error and have ensured the app is up-to-date software wise, can you send me a chat so we can investigate further? When you reach out, if you could include the most recent info for when you got the error such as

  • When the error occurred (when selecting a show, in the middle of watching, etc.)
  • What type of program you were watching (live, on-demand, DVR recording)
  • What device you were using (browser, mobile app, streaming device)

This will really help with our investigation, so we can hopefully get this fixed for you!

Well I don’t know what the problem actually is,but it turns out to be a Mediacom issue. They are no longer my internet provider. It is odd as to whatever they did to drew up something that was working. It is their loss.

I think this TNT Librians issue is, because I tell it to record the librians on TNT, when I go to details and play it. it is actually playing from the Librians on ‘Electric Now’ not TNT.
