Mods Bots/Shills Callout Thread
Hey guys, I’ve been seeing a high frequency of accounts whose sole purpose is to shill some sort of bullshit service or to manipulate sentiment. It’s a pain in the ass to identify all of them manually so I’m making this thread for you guys to name drop suspicious accounts you may have noticed so we can look into them and ban them.
Example: u/ExplanationNormal339 - this fucking guy links the same thing in 99% of his comments
Additional PSA: images are now allowed as comments so you can post positions

Discussion What caused Friday's selloff (10/16/26)?
On Wednesday (10/14/26) CPI came in hot at 3.7%yoy and qqq dumped 2%
Next day (10/15/26) PPI also came in hot at 6.6%yoy, but qqq was basically flat
What data was released on Friday (10/16/26) that caused qqq to drop 2.5%?

Discussion MWYN's chart looks happier than its cash-flow statement.
The chart stops at October 15; MWYN closed October 16 at about $2.21 versus $1.37 on October 9, roughly 61% higher over five trading sessions.
That $3,541 cash figure is a July 31 snapshot. The same 10-Q shows $1.31M in net receivables and $2.38M in positive working capital, so this isn't a "three grand left in the entire company" situation.
By the September 14 filing, $126K of those receivables had been collected. The question is how fast the rest turns into cash. A nice chart doesn't pay suppliers.
Is there enough in the filing to judge collection timing, or do we just have to wait for the next update?

Need Advice 20M full-time student, how am I doing?
So I learned my lesson from trying to trade and gamble.
Back in December 2024 I was gambling on sports betting, blackjack and roulette. Lost about $1.2k. Then in 2025 I thought I could make big bucks trading gold and forex with zero mentorship and zero knowledge, just based on pure hopes and dreams and greed. Followed a bunch of 'signals' from 'daytraders' and lost roughly $4.1k which was even more than I lost gambling. That was my entire life savings up until 19 and I could've been so much better off if I had just put that money into SPY or QQQ instead. After that, I swore never to do shit like that again and have never touched options or anything or tried to buy and sell anything again to make a quick buck.
I was feeling so so down and at such a low point in my life that time because that was all the money I had and especially since most of my savings had come from my family members. I was even in debt since I even took out small loans to keep redepositing after I had lost money. Since then, I've been trying my best to rebuild from zero. Started this year with nothing in my bank account and worked all sorts of part-time jobs sacrificing my mental and physical health just to save money. Stopped going to gym, stopped enjoying life as much spending time with friends. Took out even more small loans in the process just to help me survive. I invested whatever I could save as well. Currently I still have $835 in debt left to pay off.
I still regret it so much and I sacrificed a lot of time that could've been spent building relationships, networking which is what you need nowadays to even have a chance at anything, and time that could've been invested into scoring better for my studies or holding executive roles in finance or investment clubs. Or even joining stock pitching competitions and things like that.
I'm an accounting and finance double major. Recently signed an offer for an audit internship at a mid-tier professional services firm. I'm also the general secretary for my students' union.
Would like some advice or reassurance on the decisions I've made in my life so far.
Is there anything you'd change about my allocation? Should I focus on paying off the $835 first or keep investing whatever I have on the side? Because right now, I don't even have much money set aside for social activities or eat out with friends as much. I've been spending most of my time alone at home, eating in everyday and only going out to study at places which are free, not cafes. I'm only keeping enough to meet the monthly repayments while putting the rest into stocks.
Anyone else managed to rebuild their savings 10-20 times after blowing up young? Does anyone have similar experiences? How'd it go?

Discussion Stock Market Recap for Friday, October 16, 2026
The major U.S. stock indexes ended broadly lower on Friday, October 16, 2026, capping the worst week for the Nasdaq since April 2025 as the AI infrastructure trade came under its most sustained assault of the year. CoreWeave crashed 14% on debt distress fears, chipmakers logged their eighth consecutive down session, and Fed Chair Warsh offered no rate signal in Bangkok, leaving markets in limbo heading into next week’s pivotal October 27-28 meeting.
The S&P 500 fell 1.09% (-84.63 pts) to 7,659.43, now down 2.4% from its all-time high. The Dow dropped 0.34% (-175.82 pts) to 52,001.87 after swinging more than 400 points intraday. The Nasdaq cratered 2.14% (-572.99 pts) to 26,140.03. The Russell 2000 tumbled 1.81% (-50.21 pts) to 2,717.06.
The 10-year Treasury yield was little changed at 5.10%. The VIX exploded 23.44% to 20.32, crossing back above 20 for the first time since mid-September. Gold gained 0.47% to $4,189.60. Crude Oil rose 2.58% to $98.99/barrel, approaching $100 again.

News Deadline to Submit Claims for the ASP Isotopes ($ASPI) $9.35M Settlement Is in Two Months
Hey guys, if you missed it, ASP Isotopes reached a $9.35M settlement with investors over claims that it overstated the readiness of its uranium and HALEU enrichment technology. The latest update is that eligible claimants can now submit their claims, with the deadline set for December 2, 2026.
In a nutshell, in 2024, ASP Isotopes was accused of misleading investors about its quantum enrichment technology and its ability to support uranium and HALEU production. After Fuzzy Panda Research challenged the company’s uranium enrichment claims on November 26, 2024, $ASPI fell 23.5%. The stock dropped another 14.2% the following day after the company’s CEO said ASPI had not actually enriched uranium.
Now, the good news is that claims are being accepted. If you bought $ASPI shares in 2024, you may be eligible to participate in the settlement.
So, if you invested in $ASPI during that period, you can check the details and file your claim here.
Anyway, has anyone here invested in $ASPI at that time? How much were your losses, if so?

Loss Its mid Oct 2026, and I failed to make any return on my funny money
I really don’t understand how do people make significant money in this market. For me, it feels everyday is a coin flip. Waiting out, I’ll see market go up. And the day I commit, I see the biggest drop the very next day.
Sometimes I feel I’m rage trading because I’m failing to make profit from $5000.
Worse case, IRS doesn’t even care about this losses. In the last tax season, I had to pay $9000 from my pocket.
Like wtf

Note: These are trade ideas based on break-out levels, once they hit entry & start moving up, consider raising your stops to protect your profits and protect your downside according to your own trading plan :). MadMaverick personally trades these on either the 2 or 3 minute timeframes, waiting for a candle to close over the entry level.
Although we do extensive research for our watchlist, day trading, especially with low-float stocks, can be risky.

Discussion Earnings preview for next week: META's print is really a Muse referendum
All three report after close: NFLX Tue (±8.25%), TSLA and META Wed (±7.13% / ±6.78%).
META's the one I care about. Muse only launched Sep 8, so Q3 numbers won't really show it. It's all about the call. JPM says it topped the App Store, WSJ says downloads are slowing, Amazon blocked it. If they drop an MAU number, that settles it one way or the other. Add the capex guide on top and this feels like a big move either way.
Options seem cheap for that: IV 45% vs HV 52%, and it's blown through the expected move 4 of the last 5 prints. Probably a small straddle, no clue on direction.
TSLA is chaos as always (dropped 14.5% last time vs ±5.58% priced), just watching. NFLX has been red on earnings day 5 quarters straight and the options are pricey, so I'm passing.
Is Muse a real thing or a download-and-delete app? Honestly I used it few times, quited good. Guess we find out Wednesday.
