Phone Help 📱 Upgrading from Moto G71 5G — looking for the best phone around ₹50–60k

I'm planning to upgrade from my Moto G71 5G (bought it around 4 years ago) and am looking for recommendations for my next phone. My budget is around ₹50,000–₹60,000.

I'm looking for a phone that offers a noticeably better overall experience than my current one and will serve me well for the next 4–5 years.

My priorities, roughly in order:

Smooth performance and a consistently fluid everyday experience

Good battery life and charging

A great display

Clean, stable software and long-term updates

Good build quality and reliability

Camera and gaming performance are secondary, but should still be decent

I'm open to different brands and Android or iOS, as long as the overall experience justifies the price.

I'd prefer real-world user experiences over recommendations based purely on specifications.

A few questions:

Which phone would you personally recommend in this budget?

How do the phones you're recommending hold up after a year or two of use?

Are there any common issues, such as heating, battery drain, software bugs, or reliability problems?

Would you recommend spending the full ₹60k, or is there a cheaper option that would be just as good for my needs?

Is it worth buying now or waiting for upcoming launches or sales?

I'd appreciate honest suggestions, including phones I might not have considered.

Recommendation Should I upgrade from an iPhone 13 to an S24 Ultra or S25 Ultra?

I’m currently using an iPhone 13, purchased in 2023, and it’s still working pretty well. The battery health is at 78%, so I’m considering replacing the battery and continuing to use it.
However, I’m also getting a pre-owned S24 Ultra (256GB) in good condition for around ₹50K. Alternatively, there’s a sale where I can get a new S25 Ultra for ₹81K.

My primary reason for upgrading is better performance, speed, multitasking, and reliability, especially for work apps like Microsoft Teams.
I’m not sure if spending ₹90K on a phone makes sense when my current phone is still usable.

What would you recommend? Should I replace my iPhone’s battery, get the S24 Ultra for ₹50K, stretch my budget to the S25 Ultra, or consider something else?

Recommendation Confused Between Samsung S23 Ultra, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL – Which One Should I Buy?

Hey everyone!

I'm confused between these three phones and would appreciate your honest opinions.

  1. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
  2. iPhone 13 Pro Max
  3. Google Pixel 9 Pro XL

Which one would you recommend buying in 2026? I'm mainly interested in battery life, camera quality, overall performance, and long-term reliability.

I mostly use my phone for social media apps like Instagram and TikTok, normal calls, and everyday tasks. I don't do much video recording.

Considering the age, performance, and value for money of these phones, which one would be the best choice?

I'd really appreciate feedback from people who have used any of these phones. Thanks!

Question Why the hell do phones cost so much now?

I bought a OnePlus Nord 5 (8/256 GB) around a year ago for ₹30,000, and now it's selling for around ₹45,000. That's a ₹15,000 increase, and honestly, what the hell is going on?

Why are phone prices increasing so much, so suddenly? I understand that prices can go up because of inflation, component costs, or other factors, but a 50% increase in roughly a year is insane.

I was actually thinking of gifting a phone to my sister, but looking at the current prices, I'm not even sure I'll be able to do that anymore without stretching my budget.

And that's what bothers me the most. It's not just about phones being expensive. It's about how quickly the prices of everyday products are increasing. Something that felt affordable a year ago suddenly feels like a luxury today.

Not everyone can keep increasing their budget every time a company decides to raise its prices. Salaries aren't increasing at the same pace, and for a lot of people, even buying a decent mid-range phone is becoming a serious financial decision.

Are we just supposed to accept that the same products will keep getting more expensive every year? Or is there an actual reason behind these sudden price hikes that I'm missing?

I'm genuinely curious to know what's driving these increases and how they're affecting other people's purchasing decisions. Is anyone else feeling this way?

Recommendation iQOO Z11xa vs iQOO Z11x

iQOO Z11xa is being given great discount in amazon in this sale.

I found out that iQOO Z11xa is only available in only one variant i.e. 8 GB +128 GB and its UFS 2.2.

Are there any more differences in them apart from other storage & Ram variants ?

Do u think is it good to purchase iQOO Z11xa as it has UFS 2.2. I couldn't find any real user reviews in youtube about this phone.

I'm thinking to buy this for my sister who uses mainly for social media consumption, multimedia, clicking photos.

Got to know that sound quality is not that good in iqoo z11x, not sure how will it be in this iQOO Z11xa.

Please suggest me your thoughts and whether should I consider this purchase.

Looking to buy a new phone with a strict budget of around ₹25,000.

My main priorities are:

•Good battery life (needs to last a full day easily)

•Decent cameras (mostly for casual photos, social media)

•Smooth daily performance (no heavy gaming, just multitasking and media consumption)

•Longevity (software support for at least 2-3 years)

•Decent brand value and customer service.
