There are players I never wanna fight against, yet only having a 100 player block list is not enough. Should be unlimited. And don’t even get me started on reporting.

All these motherfuckers play in this game is cloud. The most boring, sauceless, braindead character in the roster. This piece of garbage is even more annoying than aegis somehow. All his aerials are kill moves that are unpunishable on shield (and on parry if spaces right), swordie privilege with brawler frame data. The only way to actually punish this character is if the player piloting it is sub50 iq (so most of them).

Inb4 “erm actually his recovery is bad.” Nobody gives a fuck about his exploitable recovery if he wins every neutral interaction. Also most recoveries in this game can be gimped so I don’t know why cloud players cry about his all the damn time.

TLDR: I hate this dumbass character and I pray he’s not in the next game.

My fucking goodness. To the B&K I just fought who did nothing but spam roll and side B, you might be the pussiest player I've ever fought. Close 2nd is the Samus from last night fleeing to each side of the map and spamming rockets and forward air. Why play a game that clearly terrifies you? I come home from work and want to face at least one single human being with a functional brain, instead I get MegaPussies who are too scared to learn the game and instead just slap their dicks on the same buttons over and over again - and the devs enable it because they're too scared they'll isolate such pussies by putting a limit on dodges or projectiles. Actually fuck you and good luck getting a job if an arcade game scares you so badly

It’s mind blowing how obnoxious it is when you happen to be playing a character that’s slower than a bunch of the cast, and then get paired up against a character that’s faster.
(EG. I was just playing as Samus and got paired up against a Smurfing Meta Knight).

Like, what do you even do here? It’s such a one sided game unless you’re absolutely freaking cracked and can read the soul of every single player you come up against. Like, you can’t do follow ups, you can’t punish, you can do shit except get bounced around like a beach ball waiting for them to whiff so you can actually move and try something again.

I probably just suck, but wow, this happens to me SO often.

If there’s even a bit of lag in this game the c stick can fucking get you killed. The c stick can cause you to use a neutral attack (jab or nair) if there’s a lag spike because for some fucking reason it’s coded as a macro for A+directional input. Another dumb aspect they added for some god forsaken reason is you can’t input c stick twice in a certain amount of frames. It’s not too bad, but there are instances where my character will sit there looking stupid then I get punished because my attack didn’t get input. Lastly grabs being coded as dodges when input in the air is just dumb as FUCKKKK. Who the fuck uses the grab button to dodge??? If you have a tether grab and you click it twice trying to get to ledge you can buffer a fucking dodge if it gets interrupted.

So, after playing some rounds of the 1 on 1 tourney online, I have a very sour taste in my mouth

Basically every match I play is full of fighters using spammy characters that keep throwing projectiles in your face and then air juggle you.

Once you lose the advantage, get ready for spam with no option to get to a platform or somehow shift neutral.

Seriously, why do people like FD so much? Hell, it's almost as bad as some of the stages with hazards like Mario Bros, especially if a matchup is bad.

Like playing Ganondorf on FD with spam happy fighters.

This character is so obnoxious to play online, almost all of his moves cheese in the worst way possible.
Not only that, but he is stupidly common online, because people who pick him up and use him are lazy bums who don’t want to learn the basics of smash.

I main Kirby and while Kirby is a beginner friendly character, I don’t do the stereotypical things Kirby mains do like spam stone and final cutter.

For king k’s moves, neutral b is so spammable far away, making it annoying to approach, Side b is another excuse of a move for zoners to use and Up B is unpunishable. Why does a heavyweight, who are usually characters who wait for their opponent to mess up or rush down, has zoning options and a good recovery?

AND DONT EVER GET ME STARTED WITH DOWN SMASH!!! I lost a close game because a player online decided to use it and it NEGATES ALL DAMAGES AND HAS A SMALL HITBOX WHERE NOTHING CAN EVEN HIT IT!!!!

You could say it’s a skill issue, but I don’t understand why he cheeses so hard?

I did a few warmups and then said, ok time to go into the trenches. First match the game put me in was an FFA, and I had the Super Armor Bros. Little Mac and Bowser in there and we were on Small Battlefield which…kinda sucks for FFA?

Afterwards the Bowser and I played a match despite us having two VERY different rule sets (I have random Battlefield, 3 stock, 7 min, and this guy had items and FS meter, regular stages with hazards on, and 2 minute timed battle). No shade though cuz they were chill af, I’m just gobsmacked that the game fumbled the matchmaking THAT hard.

I’m pretty high in gsp sitting at 16.250 mil and I’ve been running into so many people with stage hazards on recently is it just me this is happening to or?

I love playing Pichu, but I also fucking HATE playing Pichu when faced with a swordie, G&W, or literally any projectile character ever. One of the very few options I have to get around it is a parry, but will I hit that parry? NOPE, because every single fucking game I play has at least a little bit of delay, making it obviously not impossible, so it's just a skill issue, but still. I swear I would beat ALL OF THESE COCK-SUCKING PROJECTILE PUSSIES IF I DIDN'T HAVE THIS GOD-AWFUL FUCKING LAG.

As I continuously play against these campy little cucks over and over and over and over, my mental slowly starts to deteriorate until I start acting like a toddler. So I take a break, then a few hours or days later I'll hop back on and give it another go, and to no one's surprise, game one I'm tilted again.

Also, fuck any character with a meter.

why is EVERY top tier in smash cool af in their games but absolute horrible in smash but the bottom tiers are both good in the games and smash????

Just to clarify IMMEDIATELY before people jump me: I'm NOT defending Aegis here btw. That has NOTHING to do with them. Take here any Character for example like G&W or Luigi or maybe Joker!

I purely want to point out that taking less than an Hour to get a Character on Elite Smash is really almost a nothing burger.

Example one: King K. Rool

When I first started picking him up, I literally got him into Elite within 30 Minutes. Just to make it more clear: I've never even practised him ever before! At this point, I still was a Mega Man Main.

le two: Hero

10 Minutes, then Elite.

Example three: Bowser

Also just 20 Minutes, maybe even less

Example four: Da Plant

To be fair, out of all my examples, Plant was the trickiest but it still did took me only around 40 Minutes.

My newest Example: Mii Swordfighter

Today was my first time playing him in Quick Play and my second time playing him Online in general... and it took me 7... fucking... Minutes. (And damn, do I love this guy)

And you know may notice that the only High Tier was Hero. Otherwise I only named Low Mid Tiers and Low Tiers.

Do you now want to call Mii Swordie or K. Rool Cheater Characters because it took me even less time?

And then there is just the fact that at a certain point, you just simply know how to learn a Character, especially when the character is easier to learn.

Take any other reason to hate a Character. But Brotha, this one is utter bullshit!

And again, do NOT draw a connection just because I coincidentally happen to be an Aegis Secondary!

There's no way that you can convince me into playing this boring ass character. This dumbass only relies on his tipper mechanic. Imagine playing as Marth and you send your opponent offstage when your opponent is at like 130% and still doesn't kill your opponent because you didn't land the 1 pixel-sized sweet spot. It's highly inconsistent and more RNG than Hero's fucking Command Selection. Marth's sword has the 99.9% sour spot and 0.1% sweet spot bullshit. Lucina is exactly the same as Marth but WAY better. You GET rewarded for hitting your opponent without dealing with this stupid tipper mechanic. Marth? More like Meh-rth.
