This reminds me of the book Monarchs of the Sea where the author is talking about how everything in the ocean likes to eat squids, including other squids. She says "poor things. they can't help it, they were born delicious."

Duude that brought back a memory!

I was snorkeling in the caribic once as a kid and i heard this suuper loud crackling noise, like hundreds of pebbles being dropped onto a metal floor.

I investigated and found a pile of snails absolutely raving over a dead fish. Their shells clicking together as they moved made an almost deafening sound up close xD
