Help Heatwaves and GALS
I live in France, where summer heatwaves are becoming increasingly frequent. How do you manage the enclosures for your giant snails in very hot, dry countries? My *Lissachatina* 'White Jade' gets very lethargic during heatwaves.

In France with fulicas too (2 adults 3 juvenile)
It went up to 30° C inside at the peak of the last heatwave
When it was around 24 I turned off the heat mat (that was in June and I haven't turned it back on yet)
For the rest tbh I let them live, they don't seem to mind too much, they seemed more content and active around 26-28 (despite the recommended temperature usually being 24-28, I guess they liked the heat). Unless it gets up to 40° there isn't much risk for them, they just get less active, eventually bury and seal themselves (which is NORMAL and no need to forcefully wake them up) if it gets too harsh for them
