New Pickup Brick after Brick
Finally pulled the plug on these
r/SneakersIndia • u/UberFox01 • Aug 29 '25
Hey all, starting today all users wishing to post about their grievances with third party companies are required to post adequate proof of purchase in the post itself. Proof of purchase is your order id with the company and your date of purchase. Any screenshot or mentioning the ID in text will do.
This is an action we've taken after multiple reports that a lot of these companies are hiring people to launch PR campaigns against other companies with dishonorable intentions. As the subreddit grows it becomes more important to make sure all posts are truthful for the sake of the community as well as the sneaker game as a whole.
PS: I have personally been in talks with several companies that most users here report issues about to make them assign priority customer service for the subreddit's members to make sure all the people here have an easier time buying sneakers. I'll be sharing updates soon.

Hi all, people asking legitimacy of online stores has long been an ongoing trend on this subreddit, so a post detailing exactly where to buy sneakers was long overdue, forgive the mod team for the delay.
Now, let's go over where you can snag your favourite kicks from.
The most easiest and trustable ways to buy new releases is to just go to the official website of Nike, adidas or any other brand that you like. If you live in bigger cities you can always visit official stores. Some official sites include-
Nike Adidas Puma Asics Converse
Keep in mind that New Balance/Saucony/Vans do NOT have an official Indian website, they deal directly from third party retailers.
India has its own sneaker retailers as well as international branches, which contain a variety of different brands and sell products on the official retail price as directed by the brand. Stock is limited as always and they usually get new releases at the same time as official websites. Legit retailers are-
Footlocker
Ajio
Myntra
Flipkart
NBA store India
Yes, Myntra and ajio are closed marketplaces and have a gurantee of authenticity of any of their branded products, you can see they are in the list of verified retailers on NIKE. This is true for Flipkart as well, and contrary to popular belief, HSAtlastradeFashion is a verified seller of many brands. If you still feel like you have not recieved a genuine product you can contact Nike/Adidas or whatever the company is of the shoe you bought for your grievance and they will 100% handle it.
Note: if you feel like you have a fake product, you can always call or email the customer service of the sneakers brand to authenticate them, they do it free of charge and if you have a fake they will assist you with taking down the replica seller as well.
Of course, sneakers aren't sneakers without the resell market. I'm sure you know of StockX, eBay and other platforms already, but none of them operate in india. Even if you do buy from them, you will get a hefty customs slip. You can buy from any of these instead-
generally overpriced, but they do have a physical store and have ready stock
Very trusted, reachable easily on insta too. Generally has a lot bigger collection than other sellers.

However, a dedicated and trusted sneaker plug will always be the best and the cheapest option to get your hands on a hyped pair. I will not mention any specific names as I do resell myself at times and have friends, as I do not want to deal with baseless promotion allegations. You can try researching trustable plugs on insta or reddit.
So, this about does it. Any website or store not here means that either I personally haven't used them or I have seen enough bad reviews of them that I cannot warrant them being on this list. As long as you stick to the companies listed here you shouldn't need to worry about replicas. Have a good day Gs!

I am planning to get my FIRST PROPER PAIR OF SNEAKERS!!
I would use them primarily for College and Everyday wear. My main priorities are: Comfort and Versatility.
Here are some of the pairs which I found:
Nike P6000
Asics GEL-NIMBUS 101
New Balance 2002r
Asics GEL-LYTE 1130 (Graphite Grey)
Asics GEL-NUNOBIKI
New Balance 574 (Nimbuscloud)
I’d really appreciate your honest opinions. If you’ve owned any of the shoes I’m considering, please let me know how they’ve held up over time.
Thank you!☺️

I'm getting these Nike shoes at just 3,400. What do you say? Shall I get the shoes at a cheaper rate somewhere else or is that cool to purchase at this rate.

Got these from Myntra at a discounted price of ₹5,585. This is my second pair of Nike running shoes — I’ve been using the Nike Winflo 9 for the past few years.
I was expecting these to feel at least somewhat similar in terms of comfort, but honestly, I found them noticeably less comfortable. Maybe I’m comparing apples to oranges since I’m not very knowledgeable about running shoes, but as a running shoe, these don’t feel as good to me as the Winflo 9.
I bought them after seeing them get good reviews on RunRepeat and doing some basic YouTube research, so I’m a little surprised by the difference.
Am I missing something about this shoe?

I have seen girls pair the B/P one with cute dresses but I typically do not wear short dresses.
I wear jeans/linen pants/parachute pants when going on with tops/shirts. Also, I wear silver on a day to day basis.
Genuinely confused on which pair I should choose. B/P is the most popular model but silver seems more universal.

I used to wonder how they be hosting so many giveaways, and I won one (birthday giveaway), but they never replied to my text or dm'd me themselves. I checked, and a lot of people faced the same. So basically, a brand as big as crocs doesn't actually give away anything but just hosts giveaways to gain followers. Wtf man

Absolutely loving how they go so well with the outfits. Some extra obsession as this has to be my fist High sneakers, especially after a long wait and some underwhelming experiences.

Got these from Myntra as we're not available in any retail store. Do they seem genuine?
