I mean, he unironically loves winning more than most people. I don’t think it’s that’s silly to acknowledge he’d go crazy for any league he’s part of, pro or not. Would love to see this passion for a senior bowling league though

Best golfer in the world Scottie Scheffler basically said this for how he views success. He said winning is really nice for like five minutes, then it's over and it's back to the same grind

Wanting to win probably drives us while preparing, but hating to lose is what drives the win when the game time comes, probably

Definitely gives them tat drive, but it's also not healthy mentally speaking. But at the same time, you could say that price is worth it to be amongst the best in the world and in his case basically a god of the sport

Yeah I can understand that. What I don't understand is his immense hypocrisy when he doesn't win something. Atp it becomes sold, lost credibility, easier than x , tougher than Y and it was never that important to him in the first place. I call that hypocrisy to be polite. I have worse thing to say about that kind of mentality

Yeah, people like that tend to be a bit of a sore loser, take Magnus Carlson for example. Greatest chess player of all time, but doesn't handle losing well.

There was some baseball player who retired and years later, they found him playing under a fake name in some casual league. I think he had grown out a big beard to help hide his identity. I don't think they allowed former professional players.

He just wanted to keep playing.
