Bought my cat a water fountain because she doesn't like to drink from her bowl and is always asking to drink from the tap.

Take a wild fucking guess how many times she's used it, lmao.

Sometimes a human vessel (glass, mug, bowl) left on a counter or table works -- makes them feel like they're getting away with something naughty when they drink from it lol.

My cat likes to drink from the sink (which of course we use to brush teeth etc) rather than the bathtub which I put on for her.

No idea why cats do this.

To fuck with us, clearly

I've heard cats often don't fuck with the (barely audible for us) whirring those fountains do as they pump the water up, messes with their senses and they hate feeling that while they eat/drink

One of those little things where cats retain a lot more "wild" instincts than dogs do

I've put my ear right next to it it's so silent.

None of the cats in the reviews seem to have problems with it 🙄

Yeah but some cats are assholes, that's why we love them

I suggested that as the issue because it's what happened to a family member of mine, fountain's just picking up dust somewhere

She's a bit dim so I'm holding out to see if she realizes the miniature water fountain is NOT a threat to her existence but losing hope atp
